As of a few hours ago I have about 20 or so Iraqi military medals that my uncle brought back.

If I scan them can anyone here read what they say?

I sure hope it works ;)

It said in the description that it does, but because they usually connect to a console inside a tank to turn on, it was cut (the wire). But that's nothing a 12v or 9v battery can't fix smile_o.gif

Hmm, not much:

- A German WW2 era grey great coat

- A british WW2 bayonet

- A modern (?) era NATO cammo parker

- The foregrip and a few other bits from a Sten submachinegun

I got some Russian Night Vision Goggles...... that dont work.

And some type of military vest, I think eastern block, it has AK47/74 mag pouches. I also got a early 90's helicopter pilot's webvest, along with the helmet is came with. And I can't forget my many swiss army knifes. tounge_o.gif

Called something like a bump hat... I can't remember exactly. I'll ask my friend.

that would explain the ugly padding

wonder if that works better than the hard helmets US tank crews wear.

I've got... an SKS, yugoslovian model, used in some war. Complete with bayonet and grenade launcher sight, unfortunatly no grenade launcher. Also have a mauser 98k, czech model. A set of woodland camo BDU's. And a couple of .50 cal ammo boxes, thats all i can think of right now.

Oh, i also have a patch from the airwolf TV show biggrin_o.gif

2 black colonel insignia pins, 2 black leutenant pins, 2 gold major pins, 2 sergeant major pins, a silver star pin, and a presidential citation that my grandfather received in ww2.

I think the SKS used rifle grenades, and as such didn't actually have a grenade launcher attached. rock.gif

The SKS i own had a special tip on the end of the barrel to fire the grenades, similar to how the motar fires in ofp, except that tip is illegal in california, so they took the tip off and replaced it with a, recoil supressor? but left the sight attached. (im not sure exactly what its called, its a tip at the end of the barrel with some holes in it, makes the gun alot louder but reduces the kick)

hmm lemme think,

-An antique french bayonet (1870)

-A nomex flightoverall, nothing special.

-My old army beret and trusty pocketknife. I have killed a lot of paper and string with that blade.

- A canopy ejection handle from a F-104 Starfighter

-Some badges mostly Dutch and Italian airforce some designed by little ole' me. A bronze plaque and a commemorative (<-right?) medal for my heroic deeds as an army postman manning my heavily defended fieldpostoffice in sun-torn Italy.

The commanding officer gave me permission to deliver mail by inline skates. The crewchiefs at the flightline were less happy about it. biggrin_o.gif And then there was Louisa and...

But i wander of.... wink_o.gif
