<>Crippler<> 0 Posted July 23, 2003 A terrible loss. Rest in peace friend. Death be not proud, though some have called thee Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so; For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow Die not, poor death, nor yet canst thou kill me. From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be, Much pleasure, then from thee much more must flow, And soonest our best men with thee do go, Rest of their bones, and souls' delivery. Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men, And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell, And poppy, or charms can make us sleep as well, And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then? One short sleep past, we wake eternally, And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die. John Donne (1572-1631) Rest in peace Lawrie, we salute you Crippler

colonel_klink 0 Posted July 23, 2003 Dang it! Lawrie, its a damned shame to go so young. Once more the frailty of the human condition has shown its hand. Rest assured my young friend your contribution to the community will not be forgotten. God be with you.

Jonno 0 Posted July 23, 2003 Sad and shocking news indeed, and just a year older than I, although I only spoke with him once, it's still very sad to hear. All I can say is our best wishes should go out to all his family and friends. Although im not a highly religous person myself, It is comforting to have faith that your loved ones and friends have gone to a better place and that one day you shall be reunited.                      Rest In Peace                        Lawrie
