Deltas and rangers released!

Can anyone make an avi movie from the Ranger Raiders intro? I don`t like that convoy scene so much, but the scenes after that one in the forest and the closeups of the models are just stunning!

I found two mistakes in the Rescue Rangers mission. First is in the intro, the scene where the shell falls in slow-motion is way too long! I canceled the intro after a minute or so.

(BTW Can someone make an avi movie from this intro, too? Showing all like it`s shown on the screen, with the BAS logo and so?)

The second bug is that you can see the rifles of the soldiers stuck through the doors of the hummers. Kinda clipping mistake.

Hopefully in the next release you at least modify the Beretta and Glock to have better sounds and maybe include the Delta Elite.<span id='postcolor'>

erm... actually we discussed this with our Army Advisor, and these are the weapons they use.

And if you actually tested it properly you would find that the Berreta in the pack actually holds the correct number of rounds i.e. 15<span id='postcolor'>

Hmm I never noticed that it held 15 rounds. I guess I'll just change the sounds myself then, I don't play MP anyways. I suppose the Delta's stopped using the Delta Elite sometime in the mid-90's.  <!--emo&wink.gif<span id='postcolor'>

dude i got a really great sound pack found ont eh d/l section of oyur website. that makes the berretta and glock sounds a HELL of alot better.

BAS: i hope they are good, i havnt tested them yet as the Daytona 500 is on right now and anyone who trys to bother me during the race will be and has been promptly shot. so ill test them in a few hours

WOW nice work BAS. Really like all the models and weapons and sure are gonna make some missions with these. I did find some things that might be last minute ups and something i think could/should be changed. well here goes.

First the ups

- On the AT-4 the aim reticle (sight mode) is the same as on the law, why?? It can have a optical aiming device but you havent got that modelled. If this isnt a ups or you havent been able to find a picture of the real sight give me a tell i have some manuel pictures on the sight. And btw great that you decided to take the time to do the reticles, handles and safety, in/out when on back/ready to fire

- Inside the aim of the M240 theres the sides of a box. Looks like you copy & pasted a part of the aim and missed it perfectly of the middle was to small. Its almost invisible but its there.

- The flash from the masterkey shotgun comes from the M4 barrel. This might be game limitation just thought i would mention it.

And a then little thing i like changed.

-The AT-4 Ammo picture, could you change that to a picture of the AT-4 instead of a grenade?? Like it where done in the SEB nam pack 2. I know its a little thing but it makes it a look a little more real since its a one shot weapon. Even though it in Johnny Mnemonic could be reloaded and fired from both ends  biggrin.gif:D never seem to forget when i saw that trick hehe. Also make the ammo slot one slot bigger so guy cant carry 3 AT-4 along with his normal ammo??

Um right buddy it's not that hard making better sounds than the defualt ones, i can probably make better sounds with my mouth. Trust me, the Ghost Recon Beretta sound and the Global Ops glock sound are WAY better. tounge.gif

Me likes the shotgun veeeery much. Good lord man I was suprised with this thing. I actually made russians fly with it.  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

How will I ever play another mission with a plain boring M16 in hand? Help! I can't go back to OFP before this addon! crazy.gif

Anyone see this bug?

I have the DKMM Comanche addon in the folder with the BAS D&Rs. No other DKMM addons.

In the mission BAS_SF_RescueRangers_v1.0, the intro cutscene wouldn't play. I got a message saying missing addon DKM-MOD.

Now, whose addon conflicts with whose?

I think they rock this is the best looking unit addon out.

I would like to see 1911 add for handguns but great work

To my disappointment i found out that nobody in the BAS team listened to my request to use a realistic ACOG reticle. The out-of-scale reticle is still used in the current weapons. Tell me guys! Do you ever take feedback seriously?

Did you put the addons in the OFP\RES\Addons folder? Don't. Search The FAQ for "unofficial addons".

Either place them in the OFP\Addons folder or in a -mod folder Search The FAQ for "mod folder".

Yeah, it`s bad to be driven over by such a tank! Happened in MP a few times, when poor [uTw]Fallen was only equipped with an empty AA tounge.gif

A bug in Rescue Rangers:

The hummers stop to unload the Rangers, but then they advance into the direction of the enemy tanks too! There they get shot into pieces crazy.gif

That`s not very smart... But it might be a result of the changed waypoint-handling in 1.90 sad.gif

That version messed the previous good waypoint-handling up, so that the AI very seldom can drive a straight line mad.gif

Did you put the addons in the OFP\RES\Addons folder? Don't. Search The FAQ for "unofficial addons".
