PitViper 0 Posted October 23, 2002 http://www.volny.cz/marfy_maac/ some pics of very accurate hmmwv's under development by MAAC/Marfy. they look good!
munger 25 Posted October 23, 2002 Yep, MAAC and Marfy have done some of the best re-textures I've seen in OFP. Sheer quality. And that Humvee looks superb. I wonder how that managed to edit the BIS model like that? I didn't know the tools for doing so were available yet? Also, I hope they make a woodland camo version of that Humvee, or at least just edit the existing BIS version to have the .50 on top. Drool.
Sadico 1 Posted October 23, 2002 Maybe they made an entirely new model.
munger 25 Posted October 23, 2002 Well if they did it has a remarkable similarity to the BIS one. It also looks like their original Humvee re-texture but with 'new bits' added, which is what makes me believe it is the BIS model.
Die Alive 0 Posted October 23, 2002 Quallity this good should be in VSB1 (if its not already there). -=Die Alive=-

USMC Sniper 0 Posted October 23, 2002 looks great but one comment: the gunner is way too high. They should lower him so its shoulders and up, not belly and up. This way he is a great target for anyone.
VXR 9 Posted October 23, 2002 maybe he is in turn out position atm

Major Fubar 0 Posted October 24, 2002 Very nice...but since I dont play on desert islands much, I wonder if someone will do a reskin in the "standard" Hummer colours when it is released.
Garritos 0 Posted October 24, 2002 desert islands rock!!! but i hear ya fubar, M&M usually release their add-ons in a nato-camo scheme also so i really hope we get both =]

PitViper 0 Posted October 25, 2002 BTW, I emailed the authors and asked them if they could tie down the antenna like what is usually done
ExtracTioN 0 Posted October 25, 2002 I would to see a open humvee like in BHD in the begin of the movie there is a open version of the humvee riding in the US base with a M60 on it I love the open versions
The Sharpshooter 0 Posted October 28, 2002 Cool, now they have a TOW launcher ingame that looks great on the Hummer. They say that they will also include an M60 and a Mk-19. Great Work ! ! !
munger 25 Posted October 28, 2002 I love the fact that they're making all four armament variations but I REALLY hope they make woodland camo versions of them as it would be far more useful in general than the desert ones IMO.
suchey 0 Posted October 28, 2002 toward the bootm of the page it says that the next version will be woodland cammo "with lots of mud"
Mr ThunderMakeR 0 Posted October 28, 2002 I wonder what they are gonna do with the TOW since the engine doesnt allow missles to be fired from wheeled vehicles??
