Hey guys and hey Leight,

I don't want to let this sound like every other comment post but:

Thanks so much for your work. For long time I was switching between CAF Agressors or Middle Eastern...neither of it really saticfied my needs. This mod finally does. And hearing that there is more to come....awesome.

You don't have unecessary dependencies so keep up the awesome work. I'm looking forward to every update.

Anyway,

of course I have a question, too.

Do you think you may add planes for the factions, too? (Maybe SU-25 for the beginning?)

Hey Thanks for the OPFOR units!

Played around a bit. Good selection of units but I would update the small arms and especially the SVD (which seems to be some unholy combination of a PSL and SVD with some rather strange sights). Good luck and keep updating!

I get this error if I open the Zeus menu.

no entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles.LOP_IA_T72BB'

Additionally for LOP_IA_M2A2_D

Does that mean you removed it off the vehicles as well? If it does, I think that is really crappy that you decided to side with the minority and remove those logos from the main pack. IMO, you should have made a separate config that German users can use that simply changes the texture of the flag or removes it. I think its a bit unfair that the entire community has to abide by German law.

Hi, thank you alot for hearing me and removing the logos!

I'm on vacation right now so I can't check it out right away but I'm pretty happy to hear about it!

Though i can understand that other players might have a different opinion on this. Maybe the "alternative version" would be the way to go.

The only concern about this is that the logo file cannot be in the download at all because it can't be distributed here at all.

Any reason why the mechanized squads have two APCs/IFVs? Also, noticed some problems with some squad classnames, such as the Iraqi Army M2A2 Inf squad having the same classname as the BMP-2 squad.

Also, they have a BTR Squad and no BTRs.

Hello Leight, I am loving your pack, it's a good, refreshing change from CAF Aggressors. However, I am having some issues with your units and ALiVE. For example, I am using LOP_ChDKZ for Chechen rebels and have my ALIVE stuff setup to use light infantry, however, its only spawning armored units. Can you look into your configs to see if there is something messed up with ALIVE?

Another issue we are running into is, LOP_AM, the Afghan milita, is spawning CSAT trucks. This is probably associated with logistics or reinforcements. Any chance you can look into these issues?

i looked bout bout 2-3 pages i don't not see a reason why you removed the mercenaries? i was kinda fond of em and used em actually for playable units.

One thing is what Garverick say. Why you removed mercenaries? :(

Also is there a chance to release a patch or non-german version with ISIS logo?

Hi, i' m currently trying out this mod and it' s great, the variety is impressive, the textures look great, the a2 imported bits of gear add some variety and as a bonus it' s Alive compatible, well done Leights!

I would also like to chime in (respectfully) with others who have suggested faction changes more in keeping with real world (or fictional in the case of CDF/ChDKZ) alliances. I think it should be;

BLUFOR (Aligned with USA)

Iraqi Army

Ultranationalist Army (here I was assuming Ukrainian Separatists otherwise Independent)

I agree, although I dunno about armed civilians as civilians, since they are set as friendly to everyone by definition iirc, just have them as a subsection of African milita.

I'm not really one to beat my own drum, but several of these things are what I have done in my RDS compatibility config. Added a blufor IA and AA and added an Independent faction of each of the current OPFOR factions.

Yeah, I kind've uhm'd and ah'd about the Armed Civilians (if they have guns they're pretty much, by definition, not civilians). As you say, Independent. I guess they're probably intended to represent Somali pirates.

I saw your mod and have also entertained making such a thing but better if we could convince Leight, to save on double-handling, the potential for introduced errors and the delay required after each release to update it. I should say I'm surprised that, having introduced RDS East Statics you didn't also add the East Tanks, some of these forces would very much suit the T-55.

It would, but I didn't want to add yet another dependency of 300MB when all I really want is the T-55 and 90% of the content exist in a better version in RHS. Since Reyhards mods come under a common creative license I am however considering adding the T-55 straight to the pack.

And yes, I would love for my blufor/independent part to be surperflous and if Leight does do changes to faction sides I will be happy to remove those aspects of my extension files.
