I did manage to find a heli and take off, but didn't know at that time i have to fly out of the map in order to end the mission.

Is hard until you find a working vehicle, once you did just make sure u have fuel and repair kit and head for the higher grounds to find a helicopter, water could catch up with you if you waste too much time searching for one on lower ground.

Howdy Super-Truite, wanted to let you know that I've been spending the past few days making some tweaks to ArmAGeddon. They may be things you've already done or are working on. When I'm done, I'll send you the mission file I've modified where you'll be able to use any part of it you'd like. Thanks for the wonderful mod! We're having a great time with it. Can't wait to see the volcanoes. ;)

Anyone played it until the end in localhost SP mode? How about the balance?

The balance is such that you'll probably die a lot, but with the current system of unlimited respawns it shouldn't be impossible. :) The one big, game breaking issue with playing the mission in localhost on your own, however, is that, at thi moment, you are pretty much forced to take a repair specialist. Any other character class is unable to use the tool kit to repair vehicles. We'll probably "fix" this by creating a special, universal Tool Kit item that is available for all classes to use. In fact, at some point in the not to distant future, we're hoping to improve and expand upon the entire vehicle repair process similar to what AGM does.

Looking forward to seeing your changes! I hate to say this because everybody is very excited for the volcanoes, but it seems unlikely that we'll be able to get working volcanoes into existing maps - such as Altis - due to performance and engine limitations. It would be possible, however, to create a new terrain just for ArmAGeddon with working volcanoes already built-in - that's an option we are considering.

Yeah, that's actually my job really. A proper SP version shouldn't be too much work; we're looking to release an (somewhat larger) update by the end of the month which will hopefully include the SP.

The amount of work ahead is getting overwhelming and to be able to work on the secret Armageddon II project (;)), we will need some help. So if you want to participate and you are experienced in one of the following topics: scripting, 3d modeling, terrain making, video editing, please PM me!

Amazing scenario! Surprised it is not getting more banter

One bug I am seeing with the dev build and a dedicated server is the tornado sound is not following the tornado. remains at the 'spawn' place. (apologies if already been reported)

Great stuff otherwise, will keep playing

Also in my humble opinion:

> Take out the auto respawn, add a revive script instead to encourage teamwork and increase 'survivorship tension'

Hi Vindaboner, the tornado bug is fixed in the current version (it is already in the workshop if you want to try). I will do a proper update here, later this week.

We clearly wanted a revive script as well, but since we are participating to the MANW contest, we needed to code everything from scratch. Now that the contest is over, we will proceed to add other scripts from other authors if they allow us to do so.

PS: To content creators: if you want to help, we badly need more dev on this. We think the project proved to be interesting gameplay wise and we would like it to grow faster. If you want to know more

about the future of the mod before joining the adventure, feel free to PM me. We have a lot of intersting ideas for the next updates and if we find enough collaborators, we will be able to begin the development of an even more crazy secret project: Armagddon 2 ;).

Definetely one of the best mods for arma3, we've done few videos on this and it's really amazing and realistic. love the tornado and meteor effects.

I enjoyed making those videos and playing through the mayhem.

I haven't encountered any bugs really, except that we spawned on roof once, but it was rather hilarious and HMG offroad is evil, it keeps blowing up for no reason.

other than that, everything is cool.

I really hope to see boats and diving gear, so that once the island is gone, then game is not over (well basically if you feel like swimming 10km, you can swim off the island lol), but i think it would be very nice if you can find diving gear and weapons that shoot underwater (SDAR is one of them i think?) and some NPCs who have diving gear too. or if possible, make NPCs spawn with diving gear once island is nearly gone or better yet, make them drop in from helis. underwater battles would be epic.

and maybe 2-5 submarines across the map.

Mr Jericho recommended to have battle royale version of this, i think it's also a good idea.

Anyway, really good job on this mod / mission. i hope to see more updates :)

I am having problems running it on a dedi. It is installed and all keys are in order. I see it in the mission list but when I go to start it it just boots straight back to mission select. In my console on the dedi it shows the mission have been read!

Hmm, I immediately die at mission start, while the intro is running... Happened a few times in a row.

If you download the pbo of the mission, you need to add it in your MPmission folder.

Letting everyone know that I've resurrected this. With the permission of the mod author Super-Truite, I've re-worked and fixed the original mission. It now works. All major bugs fixed. Currently going thru some balance testing and tweaks before I re-upload it to the Steam Workshop located here:  https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=330969639
