CaptainObvious 95 Posted May 29, 2014 I just blazed through Kavala with a stupid grin on my face, most fun I've had in any game for a while, excellent job BIS! :D
5133p39 16 Posted May 29, 2014 Let Steam download it, and it should be "active" right away - once you start the game, you should be greeted with a one-time info dialog. Also, at the bottom of the screen, right next to menu, you should see DLC icons - eye for Zeus, racing helmet for Karts - click on the helmet, and it will send you directly to the related scenarios/missions ...sorry, i ment "field manual" regarding Karts, to read more :)
ericcartman3470 4 Posted May 29, 2014 (edited) Theres also a lite version, with some advertising to buy it. @devs: You aren't allowed to drive a kart yourself but you can use zeus to control AI driving a kart- better fix this. theevancat 277 Posted May 29, 2014 Now I can recreate my father's deployments in the past - go-karts, rugby, and paintball with his friends in the British Navy.

zimms 22 Posted May 29, 2014 Further info on DLCs in general: http://www.bistudio.com/english/company/developers-blog/465-roadmap-14-15-dlc-strategy-blog Wow, this sounds amazing. I don't think any developer/publisher has done something like that before.
Jona33 51 Posted May 29, 2014 (edited) This is fantastic! Does anyone else feel that in the first mission of the campaign you shouldn't take a HEMMT, take a GO-KART? EDIT: And can I just say it looks like they've got a good plan for their DLC, I've been wondering about how they were going to handle the split. CaptainObvious 95 Posted May 29, 2014 The karts are rather durable, I'd say there should be consequences for bashing head-on into a wall. To this message, I wanted to reply "Thanks, captain obvious", but then... Oh, well. Hey, man's gotta live up to his name, right? :bored:
13islucky 10 Posted May 29, 2014 Hm... after messing around with some editor-spawned Karts (as one of them) I got out to pick up a starter pistol and shoot flares in the sky with friends (great fun at night, by the way). I was then about to re-enter my Kart and I had to buy the DLC to do it! I mean, I'm probably going to buy it anyways, but I fear that this implementation may come with some unforeseen issues that may leave those who didn't pay a bit confused and maybe a bit angry. mr burns 132 Posted May 29, 2014 You can moveindriver yourself back in, with new inbuilt command line tools it´s just a bit of a hassle :)
mistyronin 1181 Posted May 29, 2014 I bought the bundle. After spending a few hundred of euros for the Sims 3's expansions for my wife; the bundle feels like a gift ( specially having in mind that I've played more than 900h already in A3 ).
