If I support a modder with money, it's not because I expect anything in return, or expect to see the work progress increase because of it. Instead, I donate to those who are doing what they love, and doing it so well, they deserve to get paid for it. If I give a modder money, it's not to finish the mod they're working on, but to make sure they find additional worth in investing their time into making this game better for me.
