beastcat 14 Posted August 23, 2014 cause 2.2 milion emigrated ;) it is 6% of whole society number rest (dozen percent) is due to "made in China" issue You are telling me only jobless people who don't want to work anyway emigrate and that is why the jobless rate dropped 10% in Poland and 4% in Germany? Sound kinda strange if you ask me :)

vilas 477 Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) You are telling me only jobless people who don't want to work anyway emigrate and that is why the jobless rate dropped 10% in Poland and 4% in Germany? Sound kinda strange if you ask me in 2001-2004 in Poland unemployment was > 20% , unemployment dropped in 2005 when milion emigrated, those people who emigrated are 3 groups: - most assertive, most ready to action, most focused to change anything, even travel abroad to have better life, educated and young aiming on succes, the most business-ready people who can do good things (big percent, too big cause we need such kind of people in country, who gonna lead changes, but instead protest, they chosen emigration and never return), - those who do it because of hunger, poverty, desperation but who wish to return to homeland because to them this western culture doesn't match and suffer loneliness there (majority which i read on several forums , they would return the same day if someone here gonna pay them money enough to hire flat and not live with parents ) - those who want to sit on their ass on social (minority, but i know people who say "ooo so i go to UK, my woman will born child and we gonna sit and drink beer if they pay us" - i know 1 guy with such attitude in London, who only waited when his next child will be born in UK territory, in PL he was also lazy, not educated, lived with parents and only playin Playstation instead of going to school , now he has 2 small kids at age of 2-3 years there and live somehow, his wife is told to be cleaner ) Edited August 23, 2014 by vilas

negah 26 Posted August 23, 2014 And the Russian-made DCS series features campaigns in Crimea and Georgia. So what? Nothing, I was just implying that they werent trying to earn some blood money from that conflict since the works on the project started before the recent war. beastcat 14 Posted August 23, 2014 (edited) Ukraine's counterpart to Russia Today, Ukraine Today, launched today. It's pretty much the exact oppossite of Russia Today, propagating freedom, fun, jews, europe, tango, trees and owls. And its not really government funded, but rather Kolomoisky funded, the second richest man in Ukraine. Edited August 23, 2014 by beastcat Better Owls

batto 17 Posted August 23, 2014 It's pretty much the exact oppossite of Russia Today, propagating freedom, fun, jews, europe, tango, trees and owls. Then it should also propagate unbanning Russia Today and other russian channels, shouldn't it? Unless they mean different freedom.
mistyronin 1181 Posted August 23, 2014 Then it should also propagate unbanning Russia Today and other russian channels, shouldn't it? Unless they mean different freedom. I agree. In fact I see no point in censurating RT. After all is one of the best humour channels.
mistyronin 1181 Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) Interesting the ideas of Kasparov ( after min 8 ), he mainly saying that Crimea and Ukraine was a fast way to keep "the dictator Putin" in power after the protests against him. And how now Putin is trapped in the situation. ( Al Jazeera ) Garry Kasparov: Putin's Russia The Russian chess player shares his thoughts on the Ukraine crisis and explains why Putin is everybody's problem. oxmox 73 Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) The POW march is allegedly against Geneve Convention since 1949. And about the anti-missile defence system, isnt it the defence system which they did try to sell us to protect against Iranian Missiles. This is exactly a part of the expansive character of the EU and NATO and in this case forced by US politics, its questionable and only leads to problems. No, thank you. ProfTournesol 956 Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) The separatists held a POW parade That's against Geneva convention, where prisoners should be protected from public curiosity. It's time to deal with those so called rebels. Art. 2. Prisoners of war are in the power of the hostile Government, but not of the individuals or formation which captured them. They shall at all times be humanely treated and protected, particularly against acts of violence, from insults and from public curiosity. Measures of reprisal against them are forbidden. Source (BBC) On Sunday, the rebels force-marched Ukrainians soldiers through the centre of Donetsk.Crowds lined the streets chanting "fascists" as the dishevelled-looking prisoners walked by. Some people threw bottles at the captives, Reuters news agency reports. Edited August 24, 2014 by ProfTournesol

carlostex 38 Posted August 24, 2014 I don't understand why Russia is so scared of ABM system in Europe, if they pressed on missiles with anti-ABM features. One warhead going off in Russia and other in the US and MAD is gonna doom us all.
maturin 12 Posted August 24, 2014 I don't understand why E. Europe missile defense exists in the first place, since it revolves around the installation of an ineffective system to protect against a non-existent threat. Iranian ballistic missiles over Poland? wtflol? The whole episode goes a long way towards disproving the Realist school of international relations, since everyone is behaving irrationally. No one in Eastern Europe has ever given two shits about Iran's nuclear program or capabilities. They just see it as a way for the U.S. to prove their commitment to the alliance by counter-productively pissing off Russia on their behalf. Sure, Russia has its perpetually butthurt panties in a twist over the issue, but when you are confronted with a violently hysterical person, you don't antagonize them just because you are in the right, especially when you have nothing to gain from it. ProfTournesol 956 Posted August 24, 2014 Yeah, there's no need to give Putin's clique another excuse to raise nationalist tensions inside Russia, following the North Korean paranoia way of controlling crowds.

If Russia wanted Poland leveled, it could do so. The system aims to protect those behind you. And no country in EU is truly soveirgn.

jakerod 254 Posted August 24, 2014 Kinda scary how many people are watching. It doesn't look like that many to be honest. It seems like they just densely packed that one area so it would look like a lot. If you look down the street it is empty but maybe that is because they already walked by. Are the water trucks there to "purify the streets of the footprints of the fascist pigs"?
