mistyronin 1181 Posted April 14, 2014 (edited) How many Japan plants was builded and working now on Russian territory? How many of Russian processors (65nm) exports to China and Japan? What do you know realy about us? I will just summarize it with the phrase of my favorite economist Xavier Sala-i-Martin, "Putin has gone mad" ( he said it in this TV show ). His studies are the ones that are used by the UN to determine the poverty rates, measures of inequality and development of the countries. Beagle 684 Posted April 14, 2014 Yep, Russian labor is cheap.Quite often those products are produced there for the russian market. BMW does it that way. Mercedes does it that way, MAN does it that way, Siemens does it that way. Volkswagen does it that way. We do not reimport VWs from China or Russia, we make those for German Market in germany those for Spanish market in Spain etc. It's not cost effective these days to ship goods all around the globe. And there is a reason why a VW costs more in germany compared to the rest of the world... just look at the stuff in premium list. Russia and Cjhina get mainly low cost base editions with decent but old componets compared to EU standard (US dosent get the premium standard as default neither to compete with those cheap US cars)

mistyronin 1181 Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) ( BBC ) Obama urges Putin to rein in separatists US President Barack Obama has urged his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to use his influence to make separatists in eastern Ukraine stand down. While in RT: Putin to Obama: Use your influence to prevent bloodshed in Ukraine It's funny. I'm sure RT is right, because obviously the violent demonstrators in Eastern Ukraine are pro-US, and want to join the US. spooky lynx 73 Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) Well... Shytestorm has begun. Congratulations. Military fighters, attack planes... Yanuk was labeled as bloody dictator even for LEOs using force against maidanuts. Now maidanuts ready to use army - from tanks to air force against their rivals. Where's the condemnations from 'free world'? News report from Kramatorsk. Reporter says about fighter low-level flying shooting at ground objects. Member of self-defence who is at the airfield says about a couple of helicopters landing at the field, about 40 armed men were in them. blu3sman 11 Posted April 15, 2014 Yep,first deaths been reported as goverment forces storm a airfield, and so it begins.! btw Prof thats about right ;) lol bingo That's BS. Government forces storm their own airfield? Yes it was stormed, but by mercs/pro-russian fanatics. That's why they took aircraft into the air, so it won't get captured or destroyed. Check your info. Tonci87 163 Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) I´ve read something else. Ukrainian Transport helicopters were attempting to land but received small arms fire and turned away. After that a jet did a show of force pass to scare the gunmen away. Of course Russian media is now claiming that the Jet did strafing runs on poor unarmed protesters.... kind of weird that they have absolutely no footage of that happening  Edited April 15, 2014 by Tonci87

mistyronin 1181 Posted April 15, 2014 Well... Shytestorm has begun. Congratulations.:mad:Military fighters, attack planes... Yanuk was labeled as bloody dictator even for LEOs using force against maidanuts. Now maidanuts ready to use army - from tanks to air force against their rivals. Where's the condemnations from 'free world'? Again, let's make an exercise of imagination of a possible situation. What would happen if in Russia some cities were taken by pro-US violent demonstrators that wanted those regions join the US. What would happen if they storm police stations and get weapons... What would Russian Army do, and what would Russia media call them... I still remember in a nation in Russia where, armed militias were trying to get the independence of the region from Russia, Chechnya. Still today Russia media calls them terrorists, and used in the past from fighter jets, to tanks, artillery, etc... I support the claim of equal rights for Russian speaking citizens in Ukraine. But taking the weapons and assaulting buildings it's a war crime, and must be solved in that way. When Russian speaking minorities armed themselves and mounted an armed insurrection, they lost all kind of respect and rights they may had.

mistyronin 1181 Posted April 15, 2014 They seem quite cautious ATM though. IMO they are trying to cause awe and shock. So the insurrectionists lose their warmonger attitude and depose their weapons. But, we will see how it develops.
