Iron Front as mod in Arma 3

But i have a problem with sound. Units are silent as a mute )))

Also no subtitles.

This problem can be solved ???

p.s.

I play through the Play withSIX and have full IF+DDay DLC

Note 4:

I have botched the 1' date='07-1.08 DLC patch. The fixed one is available now at mega/gameupdates.org.

You can just reapply the patch again.

There is a hotfix for @IFA3SA_lite on mega/google drive.

This is only necessary if you did not have the modfolder so far.

Note 6:

We are planning a quick update this time - in 2-4 weeks hopefully.

there is a new correct patch in a iron front section

with german and russian voice this is the game of the century!!

btw how to use the detonator?

1. Make sure you have sapper tools in your binoculars item box.

2. Make sure you have wire(any length)

3. Make sure you have a detonator

4. Place down ordinance on the ground

5. Attach wire to ordinance

6. Move a distance away to hide from blast area

7. Place detonator on the ground

8. Attach wire to the detonator

9. Use detonator.

10. Watch boom!:)

Is there any group/community that would be interested to organize a Arma3 Iron front PvP event?

Arma Finland can provide very good server&missions and approx. 30 players.

We can play on any weekday that fits you, but would hope event would start around 7 pm GMT+2.

So is any community with 20+ players interested?

Still can't update the game, it says it's missing a folder, or the download was corrupted, but i installed it step by step, and all the folders are in the A3 folder...

@IFA3_2014_12_27_v10.7z contains only @IFA3, is there an updated repo with the other folders? Thanks for updating this little gem!

When you have the Steam version of both Iron Front: Liberation 1944 + D-Day DLC and are NOT using Pw6. For Arma III only

IronFrontArmaConversion

The conversion tool creates the following mod folders;

@IF

@LIB_DLC_1

@if_other_addons<<<not needed

Updating to patch 1.07 creates the following mod folders;

@ifa3m

You need to download the fallowing mod folders separately;

@IFA3SA

@IFA3

Also the always required;

@CBA_A3

All those mods should be in the main Amra III directory.

Pw6 places mods in the Arma3 documents folder(I think).

Example startup parameters:

-mod=@CBA_A3;@IF;@LIB_DLC_1;@IFA3SA;@ifa3m;@IFA3

Regarding the community patch executables, I cannot get them to work as instructed by the main wiki guide. Running it, even from the Arma III game folder itself, results in an error message responding "Iron Front DLC for Arma 3 Patch is not installed on your computer or installation is corrupt." This results from both the regular and DLC executables, and I was wondering if anyone could provide for me a solution? I have the other folders, and the conversion tool works as intended, responding with a successful execution.

This is for Steam.

This mod looks absolutely fantastic. Shame I don't own Iron Front. Seen some gameplay and it's just jaw dropping

after installing all the patches most things seem to be all right except ger/rus tanks. the sound of running engine on both seems to be generated few meters ahead of the actual vehicle. also on normady's scenario distant smoke looks terrible (looks like LOD issue to me). is it how it should look like or did I mess something up?

Ya the smoke effects are broken for me too, with or without Blastcore.

I think IF was going for dirt cheap during the sales last week. Shame you missed it!

this game worth to play it only in A3, in rv3 is an unplayable brick, we have to sustain kju and his team in some manner

Hey guys.

I've just installed Iron Front (the A3 version) I'm launching it manually in game. I'm launching them in the right order and it all works however I get this error message on start up

addon 'AiA_CharacterItems' requires addon 'AiA_BaseConfig_F'

Anyone know why this would be?

The load order I have is CBA, Lib_DLC_1, IF_other_addons, IF, IFA3SA, IFA3m, IFA3.

That's the order specified on the set up page. What do I need to change?

As I'm looking forward to finally purchase my Arma 3 copy today, I asked myself if any SP- missions done for the Arma 2 version of IF would also be compatible with the Arma 3 version???

Or would the editor just show me a finger because of changed script- commands and the like? :rolleyes:

No they wont because your trying to play with Arma2 classnames, content in Arma3.
