Is the rifle in Lone Survivor a MK12?I just watch this movie once and I think that's a M110.Maybe I'm wrong.

Marcus Luttrell said his primary weapon was a Mk12 although maybe it was changed for the movie.i'm not sure

No, in the movie it was legit - Mk. 12 MOD 1 SPR with Leupold MR/T, AN/PEQ-2 IR, Harris bipod and A1 or CRANE stock, overall in movie everything was legit regarding tactics, weapons and kit except few small things like Berettas 92 FS (standin for M9) insteed of SIGs P226 NAVY and SCOGs with Dector mini reflex sights (anachronistic in 2005) in that time oldschool ACOGs TA01 NSN s were in use by NSWC.

Sweet-it's such a good movie.Probably the best modern war movie alongside BlackHawk Down.There really isnt many others-Ive seen hurt Locker,zerodarkthirty,act of valour,jarhead, what else is there?

Also Armadillo, Camp Victory Afghanisan, and To Hell and Back as well. Those are all real world documentaries and not so much re-enactments.

Okay some stuff that i got around to adding while dealing with weird internet:

- AKM/GP25

- "Improved RPG-32". This I think is pretty cool as it's a normal game standard RPG-32 but the HE round is tweaked so AI can shoot at aircraft/helicopters (verified) and Infantry (not seen yet).

- Leopold CQ/T ported from Arma 2

It should be noted that while I'm adding more Russian equipment from Arma 2 most of the stuff will be fairly basic and I'm not intending on going ballistic (couldn't help the pun) on old Russian gear as you can look into RHS for that stuff. The main intent is to flesh out the Persian Islamic Front with guns more than trying to even attempt at competing with that mod.

Also I know I said this week for a next release but looks like next week. Unfortunately ISP issues that somehow shouldn't affect a release date but given I'm still "occupied" and a lot of stuff is unfinished to show off right now it'd be more realistic next week than anytime soon, as in like this weekend.

I've pretty much settled on this as the uniform for places like Altis and so on for Temperate areas. I'll probably tweak the texture for Desert themed environments but I've got the Technical working so it's good enough for me, I just have to give it the backpacks again and as far as that she's set. I've been debating on adding an RPK or even a PKM but that's just based on what people would like to see.

Decided to give the Guided AT4 a more visual tweak to differentiate it between the normal "dumb" version:

Again most of it is just visual, but otherwise still the same, and considering removing the Thermal function (which makes the rail sight a bit useless in a way. Also added to the AT4 (not shown yet) is a simple stub for quick visual aiming cue that you can use for dumb firing or whatever, and is part of the launcher itself (actual secondary sight) so it's a cheap thing to reflexively aim the launcher.

Also some AK tweaks:

- Set initspeed of 715m/s

- Also lowered the damage so its roughly equivalent to the NATO values from Spartan0536. It should be noted this is NOT "Offiecal" work from him but bastardized work from me so... it may be off a bit. Or not.

I did some tweaks to the AI settings for the current build for the Persian Islamic Front units and some things to realize:

- Kill the Marksman and the CSAT Advisor in at least an Insurgency setting (yes I'm making a cheap map for it, why not?) that if they're around part of that element they'll maneuver on you real good if you don't kill them off quick. Since I don't have ALIVE I'm sure it'll be much more threatening but if you whack those two then the rest flounder around (to represent who's running the show and better skill of a trained marksman) and life is a bit easier in killing them. Even with Mk262 ammo I think it's the use of the BLUFOR uniform which sometimes makes them harder to pick off than full geared up AAF soldiers, so yeah...

- Was talking with Ineptaphid via PM and 2D support is what I make so far, given that some people use TIR and 3D scopes really throw people off. The most I'll do with zoom scopes (ACOGs and the like) is make 2D versions, the M3LRs and the inbuilt scopes on the L115s and M24s are already 2D and won't change from that, with the exception of the "M24 Modular" (Tentative name), which will allow you to mount whatever optic and bipod you feel like.

- And on that note, I did make a 2D version of the stripped down ACOG 3x35, don't know why I didn't think of it...

This is pretty much how it'll look, I'm contemplating on adding more rail space for a PVS-22 combo and may make the scope another item to mount on weapons.

Seriously sexy shit man, I was planning on the extended rail system a la the early modification (as also seen in American Sniper, which was of course excellent) for the Modular version, sort of an early version and what was used in Iraq/Afghanistan. I'm a bit behind the times on some stuff unfortunately on some guns, and just got shit going on.

Yeah man as long as it has some sort of forward pv22 rail, youd be "official". In recent years the issued kits had everything, but early kits were usually handmade by the shooter. My biggest modification to mine was a .300WinMag conversion ;)

Yeah WarLord554 decided to texture it and no ETA. Right now it may not make RC56 as I'm closing it up for now, so maybe RC57.
