It can be done, as you can set the guns to be used by the pilot also, as I inadvertently found out one time.

Nobody, I was actually experimenting with something and just happened to figure out.

Speaking of figuring out shit, looks like the terror of the "reverse axis" bug may be finally gone for the M240s

I stole the config, model.cfg work from Olie's (sp?) or something along those lines source F-35C model and incorporated them into the UH/MH-series. I may look into the rotor tip lights but one for all and one for all. It can be activated via the Action Menu and only the military/PMC -92s

Could we be able to kneel down sitting in the cargo area and use C to steady our shot,and use it as a sniper plattform? Would be somewhat useful.....

Or go prone inside of it.....

 

Will we be able to load a stretcher into it? Drag-n`-load a guy into it?

 

About lights:We might think it would be a great idea to add a Lens-effect to them,as real lights are much more brighter then currently.

Like that of the Light house...just a tip.

Stabilized... No, the game doesn't recognize a stable position inside a helo, the stability is what you get, unless you do a custom sniper version with a rifle already mounted, which what Warlord554 is working on with his helos. Basically it can't be done no other way I'm afraid.

 

No on the stretchers. There's a lot you can do, and some things you can't do. Suffice to say if they haven't done it since OFP ten or more years ago... not yet.

 

I have what lighting there is and the Formation lights in real life don't have flare. They're for tactical use and okay yes their bright, you have to remember these are for night operations and flaring the hell out of the other pilot isn't a good idea.

MH-80 (Insertion) details:

 

- Uses the base BIS GhostHawk (Black)

- Added the game code to allow better IR suppression, at a cost of the max lift capability reduced from 4,000kg to 3,700 kg (balancing out method).

- Miniguns have 2000 rounds each, instead of only 2000 rounds for both minis.

- IR Jammer (Kimi-uy)

- Flare dispenser programs (again Kimi-uy original code)

- SOAR specific gear for Inventory

- Otherwise no other real modifications to the flight performance, etc.

 

Also other stuff:

 

- Incorporated the two CH-67 skins into the pack, given it's just code and skin files, not much of an impact on anybody, and may reduce modpack issues for milsim units. I'm still pondering on removing the ones from the Wipeout pack and either make it a standalone mod (which wouldn't be a bad idea) and keep them separate just for those who just like the helo skins.

Thanks man, was talking to ggrotor after a session of MP, and mentioned that the MH-60L was all analog, so I found a good old analog cockpit and now packing it up for testing given that it seems externally to my inexperienced eye the difference but the cockpit is all gauges. So I'm shooting for a release if things go well on Sunday if anything, Monday or when the Hellfires decide to show up for work on the rails, which is a show stopper for now on the MH-92s.

hm...if you have problems with the hellfire. i would suggest to try out other missiles like the already ingame scalpel or so. maybe they will work. and for testing purposes it would be ok.

i can remember a similar issue with chairbornes hinds, that no weapons appeared on his hinds if arma was started with RHS and his hinds.

Unfortunately its not a mod conflict (or fortunately too in a way) as one of the people testing it has no mods other than mine and he's reporting the same issue. So for some reason when you move proxies around they go to shit, i.e this problem crops up. So it's a few day thing where out of the blue they show up. I'm not sure if its just a conflict with the old A2 models or not, but it's just something that happens.

Um this isn't the UH-60 pack so until the Hellfires show up I won't release yet. Besides I have some issues with the L cockpit anyway so don't get too excited.

 

Also the only way vanilla helos can slingload another helo if the points are actually implemented in the model itself, I made no real tweak other than the model and config tweaks. It simply was a theory and it worked.
