Hi, i have the same problem and i ve found why.

Its a config problem. drirregulars.pbo and drrpg7.pbo declare a dependancies to mas_ru_rifle and mas_us_rifle.

But there is no mas_ru_rifle and mas_us_rifle config entry on NatoSF.

There is a confusion between the pbo name and the config entry.

Steps to fix the problem.

depbo drirregulars.pbo

fine the line requiredAddons[] = {"mas_ru_rifle","mas_us_rifle"}; in config.cpp

replace with requiredAddons[] = {"mas_weapons"};

depbo drrpg7.pbo.

find the line requiredAddons and do the same with

requiredAddons[] = {"A3_Weapons_F","A3_Characters_F_BLUFOR","A3_Characters_F_INDEP","A3_Weapons_F_beta","mas_weapons"};

The config entry for mas is in mas_us_rifle_c.pbo and the name of the entry is mas_weapons.

Its work for me now, i can place unit in editor. I remove drivehicles.pbo because i dont use AIA

Ok there is an other problem with drirregulars.pbo

There is not mas_PG7V config entry.

replace all mas_PG7V with PG7V_Fgp in the config.cpp

Now its work with no error

The mas_weapons bug is fixed in the hotfix above. There is a mas_PG7V config entry, I just tested adding magazines with it in the editor. If you replace is with PG7V_Fgp, all RPG7s used by AI will target air and infantry targets. Do you have the lastest version of Massi's weapons?

None of the textures are mine, they are all from Massi's mods or BIS units.

First post updated with version 043. Changes:

  • Removed the extra addItem code in Random.sqf
  • Added Repair Specialist, Engineer and Explosives Specialist to each side
  • Renamed groups using the tag DRI_
  • Added an Engineer Team group

Great set of units including your Hezbollah and SAA set, would be nice to see them on PW6 :D

Hi Drongo,

have a small issue, I have edited a mission that my buddy and i play regularly on our Arma3 gameserver, I had asked ghost who is the author of that mission how

I can add your units to it, so he told me, I had added the units seen here:

Dont know if Im doing something wrong, but in the mission the units as i had defined to be opfor attack other units that are the same as them, and I am also attacked, assuming by opfor,

I had some OPFOR units accidentally set to BLUFOR side in the config. Try the new version and please let me know if the problem is solved.

Nice! Glad you keep working on this! I thought maybe it was a different problem with my mission but I noticed that occasionally the irregulars would seem to fire on each other at mission start. Will be giving the new version a try ASAP!

Say, since you are active on this thread I've been running into this too, on occasion: when a squad spawns sometimes I get the error "No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.mas_Strela'. I asked about this on massi's NATO weapons thread too since I suspect the problem is more on his side of things than yours but thought I might ask here as well, just in case ;)

For some reason MCC does not recognise the groups of Middle Eastern Irregulars, yet it recognises the groups of your Syrian and Hezbollah add-on.

i get the same error: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons.mas_Strela'.

I've been through the irregulars, african conflict, and massi's weapons and for the life of me I can't figure out what is trying to make the call for "mas_Strela". :(

There certainly IS a "mas_launch_Strela_F" in CfgWeapons and there is a "mas_Strela" in CfgMagazines but I can't figure out for the life of me which config is looking for the wrong class name or pointed at the wrong Cfg section!
