jarrad96 1940 Posted January 26, 2017 Kenyan and Somali forces, from 2010 to 2015 (mostly based around mid-to-late 2012) Somali DANAB Commando unit source photo. And ingame as a faction. A squad of Kenyan Army Special Forces, with DPM and SCAR-L/SCAR-H's. The lesser equipped Kenyan Army and Kenyan Military Police forces- Kenya is current very active in UN peacekeeping operations in Africa, including Somalia, which formed the foundation of the joint faction mod. The photographer is a MP, and the others are Infantry forces, who are armed with Galils, AK's and M4's, supported by the Negev. Kenyan SF- I just liked the view in this one. A Littlebird is used as a stand-in for an armed version of the MD-500 helicopter. They also have civilian painted scout/ recon versions. KSF boat team, around 0430, Isla Duala. And a shot from the rear. Somali DANAB unit again, in Desert Tiger Stripe and armed with a mix of Galil's, M4A1's and AKM's- they are a very recently founded unit, only 2012-2013 so it seems like they have different gear in every photo- I based them on the source photo above.
