I was wondering though what exactly this means?

I seem to be able to set gamma and brightness the same as always.

I seem to be able to set gamma and brightness the same as always.

I believe it was possible to set the gamma and brightness even higher than possible in-game by editing the player profile directly.

Can ya roll back the Tone mapping change, prettyplease with sugar on top?

I'm not sure but I think that new Tone mapping works only when specified by mission(Game Logic) so it's not actually a game change. (That's why people seem to hate.)

If you look here http://imgur.com/a/MQnkR#0 you see that "Arma" profile is somewhat better but I played on one DayZ server that had "Reinhard" and that was just horrible.

It says "restrict.. value set by user", I believe it is intended to keep people blind :cool:

Smells like a change made more or less specifically for DayZ (where the intent was to force use of chemlights/flashlights/flares)... not happy with it, since it sounds like game settings are being treated as an exploit.

I'm getting stuck on the "loading" Screen ( after the actual loading is done with the bar moving etc ) quite a lot with this new patch on DayZ Servers.

Didn't happen with any of the earlier patches for some reason.

Stop whining and use what you were given (chemlights etc). You can't turn your 'eyes' up so why should you be able to cheat turning the gamma up ?

Yes, strange that some people don't understand BIS wonderful night/weather system (moon phases, darker when it's cloudy etc.)

Compare darkness in the editor, with same settings - and not in dayz!

Have to agree with this because this simply does not take into consideration people that only play the Single Player version of the game(s) they actually paid for!

EDIT: Spoke too soon... Actually I don't see much difference! ... will see how it goes.
