New configuration opportunity disableChannels[]={chan1,chan2,...}; in mission description.ext file possible. last beta seems to miss up2date of the key part, named arma2oaserver.exe :), here is it http://www.gamefront.com/files/21781692/arma2oaserver_160_93398.7z , CRC32:07A37312 , MD5: 0FC0CDB5B8BB892442C93476CB802F06, SHA-1: C8B79E027C45AD90D41DA3D5E3EEF596F4A206F0 * ^ so note You need EDIT mission file and add that to description.ext to take effect + server crash fixes (must for server hosters) + client crash fixes e.g. adding into description.ext inside mission.pbo disableChannels[]={0,1,2,6}; //this disable global, side, command and system chat Group cann't be disabled, due to usage on role selection MOTD and admin say have exception and will show in Global also all system messages are now RED, moved to system from global http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Description.ext BE supported? = YES! Doomguy 0 Posted June 2, 2012 Yes, it has. Thanks for the reply! There are not many forums where the company's CEO is responding to customer queries, in fact this is the only one that I know of. Keep up the great work!
Doomguy 0 Posted June 3, 2012 Is the improved LOD blending also supposed to work for buildings? I'm not seeing much improvement for instance in the menu cutscene where the Czech soldiers are overlooking a town in a valley, with the A10 flying by. The buildings below are constantly switching between high and low LOD while the camera is panning. This happens with Object details set to anything below Very high.
