Or just a: "last week we released an update with Eden"... As they always tend to do after an update release :P

But IMHO its about time they explain more about APEX.

They released the A3 first alpha 4 months before the date of release, with Stratis and units. Eden was also in dev branch 4 months before, The Helos of the helo DLC were in dev few months before (and were only two helos to test basically), etc.

So with a lot of luck maybe we'll have soon proper info about factions and stuff, as well as the chance to test Tanoa and the new vehicles... :)

The BLUFOR texture for the Strider's always been in the soft_f_beta.pbo since the Beta (not to mention that pretty much all of the pre-Alpha trailers and screenshots showed us NATO Striders in action). Same goes for the civilian Zamak textures.

I assume that they're only adding this for consistency so that you can change the paint schemes for the Strider/Zamak in the Virtual Garage just like how the M-900 has so many different textures available.

I hope so, because this is legitimately the only thing that makes sense.

It's not about hoping. I created a ticket about this a few weeks ago, some helicopters variants are still missing.

BTW, the link for this ticket is in my signature, "wasted artistic work", if the feedback tracker randomly comes up.

and why not the luxurios interiors for the civ mohawks?

Because it doesn't exist, it's not in the game file. Nobody's work is lost if your luxurious interiors of the Mohawks doesn't appear.

Those added textures exist since the release of the game. There was no point not adding them.

Today is the DAY!

I was missing your message  :D

Well there hasn't been much important additions to the devbranch, and usually BI announces their big stuff in streams, but hopefully the SITREP will bring some new APEX info (and pics)  ;)

This is getting annoying, please stop it. This is not a wishlist thread, it is supposed to be for real information. If everybody would behave like you, they could as well shut down the thread.

I'm afraid so. They already commented it on Twitter.

As always. One (Tues)day they will just say "btw, Apex is now on dev".

I think it's going to be a while longer before we see anything from Apex, they haven't announced any stream yet (which they usually do when there's some big addition to dev) or even shown any proper screenshots of the new content except concept art.

I think you're right, unfortunately...

Well BI devs seems that have been focusing on a hotfix for Eden that's gonna be released today, probably that also delayed any APEX info too. (tho next SITREP is gonna be all about the hotfix).

SPOTREP #00053 is up, though I believe that this was the only hotfix planned before they went all-in on v1.58 "#RoadToApex". If prior livestreams are anything to go by though, we may not be getting such an Apex reveal until the content's ready to be delivered to Steam dev branch.
