chrisb 196 Posted March 3, 2013 This looks interesting: https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/isBurningAs I am not familiar with scripting, would this indicate that the unit is actually in flames or simply taking fire damage (i.e. from a burning wreck) I use the GL4 function ‘burning fx’, this enables the unit to catch on fire in certain instances, i.e. vehicle or aircraft crash etc or standing/getting too near to burning objects for too long. maddogx 13 Posted March 3, 2013 They did mention in that recent interview that they had to teach AI to stay away from fire, so it seems that burning vehicles will now at least cause damage if you get too close. We’re not trying to invent weapons and vehicles from scratch, but are always basing things off current prototypes, near-future concepts and feasible blends between them. We have seen evidence in the past of the same pick-up model missing one of it's doors, however the dev's commented nothing on the matter.
