Still I would like to create something for community-made maps too. I have no UPSMON currently in the mission. I tried to do all by myself. It dosent yet include new missions, but there is mando missile script added with many features from it. Also I made some new AI functions - Enemy tanks shoot now sometimes random buildings and enemy soldiers use much smoke grenades in some of the battles (in 3rd,4th,5th mission). There is also some other fixes/tweaks with improved campaign overview. http://www.gamefront.com/files/20548548/CaChasingGrimReaper_v1_45.7z I havent tested it properly so use with own risk. You should be able to change the campaign version without loosing campaign progress. Still, its good to revert the current mission for best outcome. tom3kb 15 Posted July 28, 2011 Im playing v1.4 and i must say that now its great campaign missions 1-5 no errors bugs all tasks end with no problems(i remember that v1-1.2 for me was not balanced/to hard) now missions 3-4 are great. I have problem only with mission 6, 1task i call plane 0-8 wait and wait but plane dont wont to come, i dont know its a bug or i must wait long time? ---------- Post added at 07:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:56 AM ---------- I think i take AT launcher and destroy them by myself :) Ps: i dont play v1.45 i have problems with mando in addon version in Soldiers of Valor (i cant target with Tab in all at lunchers:javelin,matis) so i dont trust thist addon ;). SaOk 112 Posted July 28, 2011 Thanks :) That was a game bug - The simple support module was working really randomly with the latest betas (without beta it worked quite good, but not always), so I changed then to use mando scripts (in v1.45) where the laser designated strikes seems to work really stable and good. I havent tested Tab-key when using javelins, but there is also other AT-launchers available through the missions. I will start working now on the last mission. I hope to have next version ready in late next month. I already have some new AI functions ready (civilian/animal casulties could make nearby civilians to pick up arms from nearby house and turn against player). SaOk 112 Posted July 28, 2011 I will start working on the Chernarus part soon after the final Takistan mission. Not sure yet, how long it takes to plan the story/locations for it. tom3kb 15 Posted July 28, 2011 @Mandoble My problems with the addon Mando missiles were in one of the first version of Soldier of Valor campaign. Later, the author resigned from this addon. Stranges thing was that I checked the test missions included in this addon and everything was fine i can lock with tab with all missions, but in campaign that dont work. Beautiful Island, but . . .. I believe using a usermade Island will be refreshing for players. Podagorsk for e.g. is a great Island and it's similar to the Chernarus atmosphere. I know you want to keep it addon free, but using 1 Island is not like having to download a dozen of different Addons to get the campaign running. There are a lot of exellent maps that you could use and moreover you could showcase one of the exellent terrains our community fellow membere are producing. I planned earlier to create something for it with FDFmod. Upcoming Iron Front - Liberation 1944 game could also offer interesting new setting with the 3 maps it offers. But I will see. SaOk 112 Posted September 1, 2011 (edited) New version 1.6 is available with new and final mission "Takiban's Last Stand". As new options to choose, there is BIS's "Advanced First Aid" and "Command Mode" that enables high command feature for all missions (expect in 4th). Its disabled as default, but those few who like High Commanding can modify/recreate waypoints for certain friendly AI groups. As new AI function, civilians may now run for nearby house and pick up weapons if you hurt them or their cattle. That is active only in 2nd, 3rd and 5-7th missions. Also more screaming voices are added (made by RejenOrst www.rejenorst.com) and two music tracks "Evasive Action 1/2" (by him too) for 4th and 7th mission. Many other tweaks and fixes are also there. I continue tweaking missions and adding cutscenes, but else the campaign is complete as mission count. See first post for download links. tom3kb 15 Posted September 2, 2011 For me good campaign dont need to have voice acting, if the campaign have few cutscens with subtitles, good story and nice missions all its ok. Like in campaigns from Zipper5 or Bardosy and you :). tom3kb 15 Posted September 6, 2011 Sa0k i just finishead v1.6 of Grimm reaper and i can say only great work. Missions 4-7 the best battle-missions i played in arma 2. All that support tanks,airsupport, and infantry squads fighting with me, very good mission design. I like that Mando console for airstrikes. Missions are v.good balanced, chalenging but not frustraiting. Enemy using houses and roof, you use great script for that. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Noticed: - hardest difficulty has just a bit unrealistic spawning enemies (even within players sight) - the uncle with grey hair+beard changes to one with black hair + beard :cool: - if one likes to continue/resume mission script errors appear - I don't like those little cutscenes within missions its like taking away the immersion, imho its just better to enjoy mission intros+outros :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
SaOk 112 Posted September 6, 2011 Thanks, I will work on those. :) The error is from mando script, but it didnt seem to have any real conflict. I may also do some more tweaking for spawning.
