I would guess that the reflectors in helmets and elsewhere can now shine at certain angles.

The new patch makes flashlights move to the new aiming position before the gun gets there, which looks a bit silly.

Any details on:

New: Mods can be configured using Windows Registry.

First look:

1. Erm. It appears to be impossible to shoot Drivers and Gunners in some vehicles.

edit: it appears as if the hitboxes of many of the unarmored vechiles is bugged. shooting the gunner on a US ARMY HMMWV kills the driver.

2. Though hardly conclusive I found an AI (without specfic waypoints) hiding in a house.

3. Has the BIS first aid module changed somewhat? It seemed to me that some slightly different animations were playing

I also hope that the running-right-animation-with-the-rocket-launcher was finally fixed. Makes the dude run at like 3x speed

Yep, noticed this too.

Shooting at gunner in a M2-HUMVEE actually kills the driver. I can empty whole mag to the gunner and he lives. After a while he jumps out and gets in to the drivers seat.

can anyone confirm. It seems to affect Armored vehicles for me as well.

1. Place yourself in editor

2. Put an allied Car. For example a CDF UAZ with Dhskm

3. Try to kill the gunner

Put CDF UAZ with Dshkm - bullets just pass through the gunner and the driver

Tracers are bugged as well

Take any soldier with a gun with "visible" bullets (like a machinegunner) - switch to the third person and watch occassional long lasers piercing your soldier, going through his gun and disappearing into the distance.

Yeah! For one fixed bug we get two new bugs... Keep up the good work! :D

Sometimes I think BIS should learn something about regression tests...

The good thing though is that animations while changing weapons are back to how they originally were.

No more nearly insta-spawn of a rifle in your hands when switching to it from the rocket launcher which looked really awkward. Keep this.

Thats what we are doing now you see - testing.

Thanks BIS for the great support. :)

Testing is a part of developing. As long as we don't get paid for testing, it's not our concern.

I'm really thankfull for BIS trying to support their games for long periods but they just should to reconsider the testing methods (if there are any).
