ArmA 2 site hacked

Recommended Posts

cheers for the scrip mate, but would much rather prefer not having to run it for 48h+

Same here, but by the looks of it, BIS have made the timer quite difficult to circumvent. I provide the script just in case. :)

Hopefully someone will come up with a clever way to get all the messages out the seeker.exe without having to wait.

I finally hacked this whole mess with clues:

BIS wants to show us that our immagination has no boundaries and this will keep us from fully solving any clues.

I'm not an expert in ASM, cannot say exactly what this App is doing.

I found where in memory it holds actual time and date (same as shown on screen). It also calculates some sort of hash - 64bit (8 bytes), its not simply incrementing, so its not like cpu timer.

I tried to find texts, but no luck. Actually I think that if there is some sort of encryption on data calculated then we wont break it.

Unless of course you are ASM-coder and you think in memory addresses and pointers instead of words :)

It's ArmA 3000, have to travel through time to prevent a group of nerds from destroying the world. To do this you'll have to create an elaborate treasure hunt of sorts, something to do with Persian Hackers....

I predict a revolution too. I predict this timer will do a full revolution.

Has anyone time the amount of time it takes for a year to pass on the timer, then use that to calculate the exact time and date it will be after 42 hours?

msy you were correct:

28JUL14: Outbreak of World War I

also "Ten Rules of War" starts here: CE 83 19 ... or "Ten" ...

but it's a bit cryptic... I'm not sure if it's easily decryptable

Can a few more people please run this.

I'm at work now and can't guarantee that my comp won't be restarted over night by a scheduled update. You can leave the Seeker exe running, just start the AutoIt script and it will monitor it for changes.

very cool. THX for that script !
