That guy 10 Posted April 6, 2011 great changes! especially the one with the fog. i dont think the particle effect fog impairs AI vision. i couldn't get past mission 2 because of it. the enemy AIs would seemingly easily pick me off long before i ever saw a soul. and the change to the ZU23 ural might be helpful. its also responsible for failing mission 2 so many times. i think i only ever saw the damn thing once, and thats because it was tearing spark a new hole... great changes, i hope its stable :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

A few well placed head shots and the skies become clear :-P Well except when your extraction chopper decides to go guerrilla hunting instead of picking you up and crashing into a mountain. Li0n 10 Posted April 7, 2011 (edited) Well, it has good start, but then ... :) 1. I`ve got only ground transport with no places empty. Is it supposed that player must walk 8-13 km on foot? 2. You mentioned that you are using Vilas AK in this mission, but why there are only Rober Hammer`s guns? Can you make, that if player has no RH guns, but has Vilas guns, mission will use them instead? 3. Third time I reloaded the mission there was a truck with empty places, but... it stuck on a rock in 20 meters away from FOB. 4. Another time I`ve got empty places in a chopper for one team, but there was not enough place for another one so I could not acomplish mission plan and thus could not transport any team, even the one, that have places in a chopper. Go to save............then I can see the environment but then goes black again. Went to make coffee and read news paper, come back, still black. Suspend mission, can see environment briefly. Taking long long time for 3rd mission to load up.........no load up % counter like in the first 2 missions. Using new beta version..................... Help! If only your Squad should get transported you will get an APC as transport Vehicle, if both squadshave to be transported there will be a KAMAZ Truck waiting for you 2. Maybe you have some kind of Replacement Pack activated? 3. Well that can happen sometimes^^ 4. You should choose ground transportation then and keep the chooper as CAS @Kommiekat I´still have to get to this Point. No. I switched on only Vilas AKs pack, and when I appeared - I`ve got error that RH_xx model not found and 2/3 of my team had no primary weapons ( including me ). P.S. I am using the sthud addon also, and have not experienced anything like that so far... I am using the non-addon version of the mission. My only issue is my continuous ability to get killed right at the point the extraction permission is given, and since I forget to save I have to start the whole thing over. heklos 0 Posted April 9, 2011 (edited) Finished 88% The best. BEST single player mission I have played in a long time. The ending cinematic was outstanding. The missions are great, they allow you a lot of tactical latitude with dealing with them, and I had many a picture perfect ambushes and assaults. The dialogs are easy to use and put all the info right there easy to see and get too. All in all, this is a classic in the making. uh.. five bananas! :yay::yay: Now that the kudos are done :-) I have a quick rundown of some of the things that came up during the play. This is with CBA, NIM weather, WarFX, sthud, stmovement and JSRS sounds A few times I would receive script errors with BIS functions like dragging, surrender and another I forgot exactly what it was. I think some of the weapons load-outs are screwy. I gave all my guys suppressed weapons on the last mission and one of them started firing away with regular ammunition. Could not pinpoint who exactly, but I think it was one of the AK74SU w/Kobra setups. I noticed that some of the enemy would go into the BIS wound animation, lay there wounded moaning and such but the trigger would not fire unless the enemies were dead. A few times I had to wander around and shoot the wounded (as I would get the surrender function error if I healed them and it still would not end the task) so the task would be accomplished and I would get the radio message. Maybe a percentage dead for the trigger instead of a all or nothing? On the second to last mission with the briefcase, long after the reinforcements had arrived and been killed two crewmen would come from the airport there and there would be no sign of a vehicle. I did the mission twice, the first time they showed up at the camp, and the second time one showed up in the field by the airport that was my extraction point with the HIND. It just seemed odd that two crewmen would show up.. kind out of nowhere. Now to get the addons for the other version and play it all over again! ataribaby 54 Posted April 10, 2011 In mission 6 with new version. No probs so far. This time i using 1.59 verison with all DLCs installed. Just two notes: There is still MI-16 in call support dialogue. I got two briefcase missions in a row. I just reloaded end of mission and new mission was different thankfully. Intro black hole CTD is gone as unarmed team member bug as well (using vanilla version). Once i got insertion by truck without Time Passed by... maybe its feature (i called for option to travell all way in and out in one of my idea posts). I got a mission where you have to find some captives near pass sosnovky and since it was a clear day and weather forecast told no changes, I thought that climbing telcom tower in green mountain so I could spot the enemywas a good idea... then a thick fog covered the area in les than a second quite unimmersive :( Thanks a lot for sharing your work ! And it did stop and I got a message in both text and voice file about getting off as we are being ambushed and to kill the bastards. I had my squad flank on the right side and pushed the enemies to retreat and try to flank on the left. But this was after the BMD was swerving left and right and going through peoples yards instead of staying on the road. Additionally... that BMD must be the fastest tracked vehicle ever...
