BAF bug report

Just a heads up to the developers

Currently static defences for BAF do not work, please fix this in the next patch.

hmmm they seem to work now that ive reloaded a diffrent mission in the editor, has any one experenced this?

there is defenitly a bug, the static defences are acting like theres no enemy there.

after doing some more testing of static defences ive found out that all static defences no longer work in the game

just tried mine, US & UK 50cal & Mk19, US M119, and British GPMG static all engaged. Are you using any mods? :confused:

not a bug as such, but 50. weapons sound the same as 7.62.

the campaign and missions are totally bug free!

sounds on the warriors cannon need fixing, only one shot is herd then nothing after

they seem to engage when they have a leader but when they are on their own they dont engage, have you tryed this? i also have no mods

bugs Warrior ABC

the engine sound do nothing all time the same on Q-w-e ,hill up or down.

muzzle flash from main gun is on the mg !!

he explosions very to big from main gun !

green/Black channel for thermala not aviable on gunner site.

kommander has the wrong white/black thermal site !;)

why do not test your things on a small testrange bovor you build missions with it ?

make it we the car builder make a test range - for driving hills , fire the guns etc.

and when you will fix the t-72 ?? he has no driver door the last 10 years

the milkglass on btr90 and bmp3 WE NEED IT FOR PLAY WITHOUT 3RD PERSON

make your models finish bevor your modeler begining new work dam.

and when fix you the wrong lot of t72 brdm ? they have arma 1 lods and ofp lots !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

same as the turettbunker in oa has the green arma2 lod ..................

and many wrong old lods in this game.

right i have just reinstalled every thing, this patch or BAF has some major bugs which is rendering the game unplayable.

bugs i have found so far.

some armored units such as the USMC APC not engageing other armored units most of the time.

Static Defenences on all sides will not engage most of the time.

Sound on the BAF APC needs fixing

i have no mods on this game to be causing any conflicts.

BIS please sort out these Bugs ASAP they are making the game NOT PLAYABLE

Some vehicles doesn't seem to get the engineer repair action. The only two I needed and tested was the M113 Ambulance UN (my primary MHQ vehicle), and the Stryker MEV (my secondary choice). Also I'm still not able to get more guys into the Stryker MEV, was kinda hoping this would be fixed.

Something is wrong with the static 50cal recoil animation when viewing from 3rd person, at an angle from 90degrees left or right through the shooter's back. The anomaly is the gun barrel too retracted much behind into the gun. but viewing it from the front, the recoil animation seems fine.

Just started playing and in the second mission, one of my units got overrun by a Warrior that couldn't wait (AI driver), moments later the same or the other Warrior (AI) managed to ram and flip my jackal upside down. Ohwell, no game breaker i guess and not BAF related bug :p .

Weird how the game plays differently for different people. When I got to that part, the Warriors slowly and painstakingly drove around my Jackals before moving on. :D

BAF_IED_v1 is broken, can't be placed. The backpack IED is invisible in game as well.

Check at your feet :p But yeah, it's broken, as you can't do anything with it - afaik anyways. I don't have BAF though, only 1.54 patch.

Seems to be some real balance issues as well.

Particularly the CTWS and M621 have very powerful HE (HEAT on CTWS), both able to destroy a T55 or T72 with a handful of rounds yet the APFSDS CTWS rounds seem quite weak against the same targets.

Also, i thought Mastiff's were supposed to be in this pack as well? or was that just my imagination?

I placed some british units to take a look at them - i used the groups (F2) menu in editor on Takistan island.

After wandering about i decided to throw an IR strobe. Bad mistake.

1 group decided that an IR strobe is a real pain in the bum and opened fire on the strobe. They didnt even hesistate to shoot down me (almost) or their own men.

British humour i guess. :D

great stuff after all this new introduced bugs.

i tell you...some bugs will NEVER be fixed.

what about enemy cars, drivers and gunners are killed, my entire squad still decided to engage

it with Rifles!....till the hitpoint count reach the magic 0!

What is that Warrior APC firing? 20mm? Me and my friend took out 5 T-72 and T-90s with couple of shots, usually with just one shot - it burst into flames and huge explosion :) whats that ammo - nuclear?

Yeah, the cannon seems really overpowered. You can level whole villages in seconds with that thing.

That can't be realistic, can it? :confused:

FPDR - BAF Lite - Warrior- The hinges of the drivers hatch , the faces are reversed - FPDR

open the model in O2 ..select the faces in question and press the W key

They also like to open fire on discarded Launchers...

Small Muzzle-Flash bug on the FV510 Warrior, when you shooting whit the main gun, it´s always see the Muzzle-Flash effect from the MG !? ;)

I dont know whats going on, i can only use the mortars for the new artillery system. MLRS and cannon i cant use it says "Cannot Execut, Adjust Coordinates". Same thing with the computer, i put it where its to be fire but i cant use the fire button on the screen. Im in range. Only mortars work.

Scratch that iv got it working, to be able to fire MLRS or cannon you have to shoot outside the circle. Love this new artillery system.

There are two circles, one for minimum range and one for maximum, but the maximum does not show on the map for MLRS "far" missions.

I can't enter the Jackal's gunner or commander position from outside the vehicle, but I can switch to them once i enter the driver or passenger seats. The same goes for the AI only they won't switch seats. I can't get past the second mission because at least 3 of my guys end up walking! :(

Has anyone else had this problem?
