Lastuslustus 10 Posted September 3, 2010 What? :confused:Why can't you use the beta patches? I don't know how. Tried two times, it only starts vanilla not OA+BAF. Maybe I'm to stupid. That's why i am looking forward to an official patch Hmm, need to explain a little more mate. The issue what is already fixed in the beta. But that's not official. Where the AI stopped moving. A few minutes ago I played with some KSK Units and gave them the order to Hold the fire, so that the enemy can't detect us. But suddenly the guys took out there pistols and switched on the lights and the enemy knew our positions and opened the fire. Bug???
Zipper5 74 Posted September 3, 2010 You're running it wrong if you're not changing anything after installing them. Go into your main Arma 2 directory and you should see a shortcut entitled "Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch" and use that, or look at how it's activated in the shortcut's properties and apply it to your own. evilnate 0 Posted September 6, 2010 I am very impressed with this new patch, and very pleased about the way DLC is being implemented (free low quality, cheap high quality)! I think if you keep this up you will acquire many more customers. :)
cossack8559 10 Posted September 6, 2010 Hey Guys, anyone had game crashes when firing Hydra rockets? since the patch i've had it crash twice while firing these. first crash i've ever had with CO so i'm guessing its the patch as i've not added any mods since either. bazeye 10 Posted September 7, 2010 The patch didnt fix the Falanga missiles in the Hind from OA, they still miss the target even though the target locking signal is sounding off. Also the new patch has added unnecassary restrictions to the placement of structures and static defences, for example pre patch i could place a long high wall against the open face of an aircraft hanger and build, now i cant, and i cannot place some static launchers in places i could of previously, like near or under trees. Please lets have a fix for next time.

It broke every static weapons... for now you can group them to a soldier that is the group leader, and the group leader will command the static gunner to fire at enemy

ruarz 10 Posted October 10, 2010 The computer seems to be working great but I can't order my arty to fire accurately. Whether I tell them to fire via the cursor in-game or via the map they seem to miss my mark by about two clicks or more. Any ideas?
nikiforos 450 Posted October 12, 2010 What is the best alternative? To install AO in the same map as ARMA 2 or too create a new map within Bohemia Interactives and call it for OA ? The standard installation installs it within ARMA 2 map.
