ArmA 2: OA Beta Build 72787

Recommended Posts

NOT WORKING , DON'T DOWNLOAD

http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php

[72787] New: Mods contents hashes are compared instead of mods lists when equal mods are required on server.
[72716] Fixed: Commandline -mod behavior, active Mods list in UI, ModLauncher UI dialog with better mods detection and handling.

Enjoy!

That was actually included in the last beta. I just put the entries that were new to this beta.

Not working. Tells me "7zip can't find specified file", or something.

patch for game files is missing as building process failed,

so don't worry just another fail to blame on me ... :j::whistle:

Will we see a working file uploaded till this day?

no, i'm sorry, maybe another day ... in worst case it will introduce even more fixes ...

and if you want to , please run 72716 and GET ME AS MANY AS POSSIBLE CRASHDUMPS :)

crashdump files (arma2oa.mdmp,arma2oa.bidmp,arma2oa.rpt) must fly to my email (my forumname on bistudio.com)

each time you get crash (they overwrite each crash)

(pack them ideally with 7-zip and use subject [CRASH]) + some details about what you done when it crashed)

dumps are located:

VIsta/Seven = C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\

or

XP = C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA 2 OA\

BIS just loved the spam last time the beta didn't work, so they did it again. :O

Give them a break guys, it just shows how close the beta's are to actual programming. Don't worry, you'll just have to wait another day for a new beta.

Hmm. Dwardern maybe you should slow down a bit and avoid the embarrassment of uploading a bad beta (again). :butbut:

I'm glad I check the forums before I try these betas...

:)

Thanks for trying though!

you need to realize the build-up of betas is automatic process so if it fails it fails ...

simply there is just nobody around to take it down ... that's all ...

better to have fails on beta than final ...
