I said I wasn't mislead and ripped off because I never bought the game, I got a discarded copy from a friend who hated it, but many others were. If he gets his money's worth out of the game then more power to him, as I said. Codemasters mislead and ripped people off, and nothing about RR so far shows this will change.

Why on God's Green Earth should anybody assume that they have "learnt their lesson". If anything, I have only seen them lower their standards for everything and are just "hoping" people such as yourself will blindly trust that "this time, things will probaly be better"

I never said anyone should assume they have. And I'm not saying I trust them either. Just giving them a chance. It doesn't mean I will buy it, it doesn't mean I will trust them. It just means I will give them a chance instead of mindlessly bashing it.

Heeeeyy!! Steady on chap. There's quite a lot of thought going into bashing RR. A lot of speculation. Suppositions supposed & therories explored. Hardly what I would call mindless. :cool:

It's just that many of us are starting from a stance of "No Quarter".

There was more innovation in the first one. It was something new. Some really well designed set pieces...now it seems that the OP, and subsequent posts are cashing in on an already existing topic that was quite ground breaking in its hey day. I agree we can't have the original back, and it will never be the same...maybe we just need some real RR in-game screens and gameplay video. I think this thread went downhill after Lenton got busted down to tea boy. It's comparable to when EA took over C&C from Westwood. Who is this McNichols feller? And why isnt he posing with big plastic guns and getting the differences between the M4 & M16 all messed up? Eh? I could go and look on the CM forums for fodder but I only have around 40-45 years left to live.

My best bet would be vision. The first mil-sim/shooter-type game featuring a fully blind soldier.

Imagine if you will, you may not see all of the awesome ragdoll, top notch physics and proper bullet ballistics -but they're there, trust us! All the while your running around the black screen, Sion Lenton is narrating the awesomeness to you -"man, if only you could see this!"
