Catastrophic X-cam crash...ideas for recovery?

Alright, I've just suffered the nightmare situation... Was saving X-cam project, halfway through Arma 3 just blackscreened. I waited for a while, tried to get it to respond, nothing. So, I had to force it closed, and surprise surprise, my X-cam .ini project file is totally corrupt. Unfortunately, the last backup I did of the project file was a couple of months ago - or, tens of hours of object placement ago... My most hopeful solution is that I do have an X-cam output txt file (for Terrain Builder) which isn't too old. So, my question is, unless there is something else I haven't thought of, how can I get my X-cam output file re-imported to X-cam as a project? I really don't want to resort to having to use Buldozer... Cheers!- 2 replies

Hi guys, im here for asking u some help about xcam. Im using it for working on my map and i want to use the objects and buildings of tanoa and livonia. Can u tell me how can i take the pbo for put it on xcam librarys??

I have been having issues trying to export my xcam project to terrain builder. I place all my objects in the 3DEN editor, then play the preview mission, launch xcam, import all mission objects into a blank project, save the project, and then export the text file. The problem I am having is the classnames of the mission objects being empty in the exported object file. The coords are there, it is in the proper format and layout for TerrainBuilder to understand, but the quotes are empty. I don't have this issue when I place an object within xcam and then export it that way. It is just the mission placed objects that won't save classnames for. I have tried reinstalling xcam, loading all the object libraries (for vanilla A3, which is what my terrain is using), exported a script file (which does work btw) and then loaded that script into a new mission before adding the mission objects to the xcam project, I have made sure all of my placed objects aren't simple objects, have simulation enabled, etc, but none of these things have any different results Here is what my .txt file looks like: Any help would be much appreciated

Hello! So I am doing my own remake to Kelley's Island, however when I import objects on top of like a bridge kinda from XCAM this is what happens: (It does this when I both export and import it as absolute and relative height)
