GoOB 0 Posted January 1, 2004 Here I have two pictures wich was taken by yours truly on a trip to Lappland. Not up to par with some of the other shots, but here goes: Sneaky commercial shot, looks lovely though doesn't it? Lovely view.
edc 0 Posted January 1, 2004 That last pic was neat. It almost looks like it was taken from a plane.
GoOB 0 Posted January 1, 2004 Heh, fifteen seconds after that picture was taken I almost fell off that mountain side. That would have made a nice picture Now here are a two pictures to show how quickly the weather changes up there: Setting up camp, sleeping on rocks was surprisingly uncomfortable! Waking up, awakening on cold rocks was even more comfortable. EDIT: Huge credit to BD for the hosting

In the vicinity of Nikkaloukta and Kebenekaise, but we didn't climb up the infamous mountain instead we chose some other mountains to go up. One with no name, and the other has a name wich I can't spell out to be honest. But a later trip involved Kĺtotjokka (sp?!) and a few other little hills. Lappland is really the way to experience Sweden EDIT: Lovely pictures Bosun!

Consigliere 0 Posted January 6, 2004 Took this picture while in Gibraltar last week. I was wondering if anyone knew what it was, who it was operated by? I saw it had about 4 mounted weapons on it, one of which looked something like a minigun of some sort. My guess is US Navy SEALs. US warships and aircraft pass through Gibraltar quite often, but since 11/9/01 ( obviously ) people aren't told about military assets passing by, like they were before. Btw, I strongly reccommend Gibraltar It's certainly different. Very interesting place.

Cpt. Bazikian-5thSFG- 0 Posted January 7, 2004 http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/http://aa.domaindlx.com/consigliere/MystBoat1.jpg looks like the USN's MK.5.... basicly their SEAL boat that can launch and recover SEAL teams on missions... it can carry 2 RHIBs and i think it has room for 2 seal teams USN special boats
walker 0 Posted January 7, 2004 Hi all Some pics of me mostly by my ex. Wondering around the border of Pakistan and India Recovering from Typhoid on a beach in Goa Moondance was playing on the bar CD at the time. Top roping a climb at Saddle Head just below the Radar Station of Castle Martin artillery Range West in Pembroke, Wales. Soloing (no rope) in the same area. Note if you look at the bottom right of this picture you will see the rock I had my right hand on in the picture above. Its odd I dont remember soloing that day I usualy remember solo climbs as they are something I rarely do. Kind Regards Walker

Consigliere 0 Posted January 7, 2004 what graphics card you have? ;) look in the background to see some smokestacks like agent smith's industrial buildings have. What's that supposed to mean? I reduced the quality of the image so that I could post it directly on the forums. Yeah, those smoke stacks are in Spain as well as all those industrial buildings.
