@forky We would love to have more people supporting us. We would like to speak with you in person on Teamspeak, if this is an option for you?

New update 1.6! With this update we are adding the MG3 machinegun and the DM31 AT mine. We also updated our vehicles to the new standards and added additional functions to some of them (please read the guidelines.pdf that come with the download). @lionhawk123 You are right. Our vehicle radio does not have this function. We might be adding this in the future.

[WIP] Westwall -- a World War 2 total conversion mod
kickapoo0 replied to gurdy's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
@The Norse Wind i prepared the model, so it can be used in any variation, that the Westwall team comes up with. That is why there is an Antiaircraft sight on it. It has to be done before implementing, doing it afterwards, would be bad for the workflow.- 433 replies

smallarms NIArms Release Thread
kickapoo0 replied to toadie2k's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Why has this topic been digged out again? It was explained several times and i think everyone should live with that. By the way, Arma makes all your 1200 RPM wishes go waste, since the firerate is dependend on the framerate. Haven't seen a lot guys lately with constant 60 fps, so everyone would have a firerate that changes all the time. With the BWmod Eagle IV we tried to fix this, but we still encounter a hearable change of RPM. -
Changelog is on it´s way. It just arrived at the armaworld page and BWMod official page. Official announcement of version 1.5.1 will follow here next.

ARMA 3: Conflict '85 - A CUP expansion
kickapoo0 replied to slatts's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
I really don´t want to be "that guy", but i am anyways. Is there an estimated release date? I know, it´s done, when it´s done, but are we talking months or years? I really need this nostalgia. Just a rough plan for the release would be enough for me. -
If you guys are interested in a Video, presenting the Eagle IV and if you fortunately speak german, here is a link.

@jacobs just create an issue on our bugtracker and we´ll see, what we can do. git.koffeinflummi.de/bwmod-team/bwa3-public/issues

@noilliz we could not reproduce this bug. Are you running other mods as well?
-
@yxman we are looking into a Steam Workshop release right now, but we won´t promise anything.

smallarms NIArms Release Thread
kickapoo0 replied to toadie2k's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
thanks for the detailed answer. So when i don´t load the comp pbo, i don´t have this error. That´s why i thought it must be the pbo. Is there anything we can do, to find the cause of this? edit: i saw the last bit too late, we are going to check that. Thanks -

kickapoo0 replied to toadie2k's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I would like to report a bug here. If you load the BWmod and Niarms G36 together with the hlc_bwmod_compat_G36.pbo you get the following issue: the BWmod G36idz es and the G38 standard versions will be listed as Niarsenal mods in the virtual Arsenal of Arma3. This does not apply to the other versions. You can see it here: http://imgur.com/a/d6tSr This is caused by the hlc_bwmod_compat_G36.pbo so we can´t fix it on our end. -
@Taunus Team can you please explain what this point of the update means? added: Apron Lighting RMA
-
Since all our players download CUP_terrains from the same source, i doubt this could be it. The thing is, that some have the issue and some do not. I don´t know what i should think about it. maybe it is Taunus, maybe it is something else. We should definitely solve that problem though.
-
I must say, some players from my group(me included) encounter the same problem. it has nothing to do with the way Arma is set up. When i first tried out the map, i didn´t have this problem but later on it was there an stayed. This way too bright light is only on Taunus. If i go to the editor and select Taunus and then another map( even CUP_terrains), only Taunus is too bright. I didn´t change my settings and even if i would( i tested it), you can´t get rid of the brightness. Since it happens only on Taunus, i must assume that it is a Problem with this addon. Maybe it has something to do with the ingame date, i don´t know, but it would be cool if you guys would check that and try to reproduce this error and check if the lighting has to be changed in some way.

Hi guys, we have been working hard over the holidays and we want to give you a little update. There is still a lot to do on the Eagle IV, but we have come a lot closer to actually finishing it. Thanks to Marc_book who does a lot on the Eagle as well as making this Video.
-
This might be the most beautiful map Arma has ever seen! Superb work guys! As we all expected it is rather difficult for Arma to handle this, so i hope you find the time, after the holidays, to bring us the lite version of it. A thank you isn´t enough for this but still worth to mention. Thanks guys and happy holidays to all of you

ARMA 3: Conflict '85 - A CUP expansion
kickapoo0 replied to slatts's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
It would be cool, if you guys would colaborate. If you can do codes and textures, i think that would help a lot to get things going. -
I can only sympathize with you in general. Having to maintain too many big mods is a hassle for every community( ours as well). That said, there are communities playing with 30GB Modsets, without having any problems. Our community has a 15-20GB Modset( depending on which map is played), still with no problems. In times, where standard mods like RHS, CUP, CUP_terrains and others are several GBs big, you really can´t help it. don´t tell me, that your internet connection is so bad, that you can´t download the mods or anything like this. for most of the problems, there is a solution. So if you don´t play with BWmod, just because you only want the Leopard and nothing more, then i can´t help you.
