Hi, I need a little help with the config of a retextured vehicle i made for my community. To clear up the inventory of the vehicle i want to add a backpack filled with all the ace medic materials. So i made a "new" backpack which is prefilled with all the stuff, like this: The backpack works fine when you spawn it in the Editor. It does not work in the Arsenal (it is empty there) but that is another problem. My retextured vehicle also works fine, but i cant add the prefilled backpack into the inventory of the car. Normally you can add items to the car inventory with the TransportItems class like this: But this does not work for my prefilled backpack. Ammo etc. works fine. Does someone know how I can add my prefilled backpack to the inventory of a vehicle? Thanks -

Thanks for your answer. Only the Microsoft security functions where active. I have disabled them for another test, but unfortunately the results were the same. -

Hi guys, I have a strange problem with Arma3Sync and cant fix it. Every time i download files, the download finishes without errors but then Arma3Sync checks the downloaded files and wants to download them again. When you redownload the same files a couple times, sometimes the files are ok. But most of the time Arma3Sync just wants to download them again... What i have tried so far is: - Check for Java updates - Reinstall Arma 3 Sync - Verified that the repository files are ok. (Works fine for other community members) - Tried to save the files on another hard drive - Tried to reduce the parallel downloads to 1 I even download the repository with FileZilla FTP and double checked that the files are really downloaded without errors. Then i have checked the files with Arma3Sync with the same result that they are not correct and need to update. At this moment I don't know what to do. Has anyone experienced a similar problem and has a solution for it? Thanks -

Hi guys, has someone else the problem that some players become invisible, to some other players, after they wake up from unconsciousness? We sometimes have this problem on our dedicated server since we switched from ACE 3.12.6 to ACE 3.13.3. What I have noticed is that it looks like a synchronization / update bug after unconsciousness. For the player who cant see the woken up player, the body of the injured player is still at the position where it was before waking up again. Also TFAR does not get updated and the voice is still located at the unconscious position. When the bug occurs this does not happen to all players. Most of the time the unit is invisible for just one or two random other players. I am not really sure if it is a problem from ACE itself, or if is an incompatibility to one of our mods, or something else. Just asking is someone else has the same problem. Unfortunately I dont have RPTs at the moment. -

You cant really say that the number of mods is the problem. Sure, there is a chance that one of the mods causes this behaviour, but without a working way to reproduce the issue, you cant tell. And this is the biggest problem it just randomly happens and i haven't found a way to reproduce it yet.

Would be possible, but i don't know how useful the log file is with over 80 active mods.

I just found this thread after a quick google search for this problem. I can confirm this bug, but i don't know what triggers this problem. I have exactly the same behavior like in your video at 0:25. You have 8 mags, reload not empty mag, when done, for a short time 8 mags and then 7 mags. It doesn't happen all the time, but is very annoying when you reload a machine gun and half of your ammo box is lost. Example video:

Is is correct to map both ways of one axis (+) and (-) for Analog Thrust. But make sure you control this axis only with one device. I have exactly the same problem. The analog gas pedal works fine, but the brake does not. Only full brake or nothing. This is really annoying when you want to drive backwards.

Hi, has someone else the problem, that the original BI mags are now invisible when you use them in the RHS US weapons? For example the "30Rnd_556x45_Stanag_Tracer_Green". It would be nice if the default mags would be working again, because we use them as default resupply mags, for the reason that they work in nearly any mod.- 16577 replies

I am pretty sure this worked some version ago. That was the way i added my optional sound mods etc. Just duplicated our normal synchronized community repository and dragged in some additional sound mods from the left. If there were any changes (with new, or removed folders) you would have to do this again. -

If someone else has this problem, the solution is that you have to use "class TransportBackpacks" in your car, instead off "class TransportItems". -

Has someone meanwhile found a fix for this? This is still a problem when you transfer units from Zeus to the server, or a Headless Client. -
Isn't this the same sound you use for the Carl Gustav in you launcher mod?

Sure, but that would also mean, that you cant leave your vehicle without the loose of the radar. And i think the radar can do its job even without a human in front of the screen starring at it. :D

I think i found the problem. It looks like the Nyx Recon cant be empty. If you disembark the crew the radar signal vanishes after some seconds. Is this behavior on purpose? In my opinion it would be better when the radar stays on. Then you would have the opportunity to park a Nyx Reacon in your FOB and go an a patrol without the need of a additional radar vehicle.

Hi has someone else the problem, that the Nyx Recon (with radar) does not send the radar targets to the Nyx AA? Data Link is enabled on both vehicles. I am not sure if this is a bug, or if i am doing something wrong.

I have solved this problem long time ago but i havent used it for month. I am not sure if it still works. My solution was to play the music with say3D from a speaker object and execute it globaly with CBA_fnc_globalExecute. At the end of each music file i am deleting the object and spawn a new one. You cant see this process but the sound file stops when you are using say3D and delete the object. So after each track the music is back in sync for all clients on a server. The problem with this method is, that you need an array with the exact length of each sound file, to track when the sound file is at the end. -

Hello, I need a little help with a music script. I have written a script, which runs on a dedicated server and starts some random music files with playSound3D. With this method the music is random in every mission but each player hears the same music. But there is one problem with this way. When a player minimizes his Arma the music file pauses on his machine. So when he tabs back in Arma there is a delay between his sound and the sound of the server. When the server starts the next music file there is a overlap between the two files with the length of the time, the player had his Arma minimized. To solve this i need something like "stop playSound3D" which i can execute before starting the next song. Is there any way to stop playSound3D before the music file reaches it end? -

HI, I have a problem with the Zeus Interface. When I start a game master mission on my dedicated server and select the virtual Zeus slot everything is fine so far. The problem starts when I have for example a disconnect then i am not able to use the Zeus slot anymore. Every time i join the slot the Zeus interface does not open anymore. The screen is just complete black, or your camera is stuck somewhere close to the ground and you cant do anything. Pressing the Zeus key does nothing. When you press your map key you can just see the red map crosshair. Does someone else have this problem too? This bug is really annoying because the whole mission has to restart when the Zeus does not work anymore.
