I have a sneaky feeling that it will have .... Arma 3 "Orange" (working title) (est. Q3 2017*) While the exact theme of the Arma 3 "Orange" DLC (working title) will be announced at a later date, this upcoming new package will explore an interesting and unique perspective on the battlefield. The Arma 3 "Orange" DLC will include new vehicles, new clothing and gear, new decorative objects, a mini-campaign, Showcase and Challenge scenarios, and more. In terms of size, the "Orange DLC" stands somewhere in between the Arma 3 Karts and Arma 3 Helicopters/Marksmen/Jets/Tanks DLC.

Start with Jakes guide comes with a pre-made example, great way to start and everything works if followed correctly, do it over and over, tweaking things as you go until you master the basics. Throw the heightmap in L3DT, let it calculate, it will generate a new satellite image, overlay that in PS with the existing and the land/sea will match 100% accurate, then use clone stamp to update the original sat image If you want some help then hit me up on Discord. -

Baking the objects to a terrain will run much better than scripting them, so to answer you question, sorry but yes. -

Rebuild terrain is in your mapframe properties, under the processing tab.

In mapframe properties under samplers, set the grid size to 512 x 512, set the cell size to 1.5, that will then change the terrain size to 768, that is the closest you'll get to 700.

You can't pack someone elses work and publish it, it's not yours, it belongs to Drifter. You'll only ever be able to script your objects, if you want them baked on the terrain you need the source files, which is what Drifter has, so ask the author.

Roads show in bulldozer but not ingame.

Use pboproject, sounds like you have an error before it gets to the roads, addon builder will pack regardless of broken things, pboproject will stop and list the problem(s) -

What you've been told is correct, the slash lines are because the terrain is flat in that area. As Auss said, use Buldozer to raise/lower or if you have a large area then run the perlin noise plugin from TerrainProcessor over it, nothing too extreme, just enough to have a few ups and downs or even L3DT.
