RHS ACU Retexture - I'm missing something simple.
road runner replied to Matthew10_28's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS - CONFIGS & SCRIPTING
according to the owner of the ACU's he forbids any tampering with the pbo.. just be aware that people might not want to help due to this reason. -

road runner replied to CommanderCharms's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS - CONFIGS & SCRIPTING
If you unpack any pbo that's binarised, there's normally a good chance the rvmat will be fucked, as it will maybe give you an I/O error. What I do is open the rvmat with Notepad ++ and edit it in there, and save it in there too.- 11 replies

[WIP] MLV Map - Project 1982 | Malvinas / Falklands Terrains
road runner replied to LoRo's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Having been deployed there in the 1980's, I hope this will be pretty accurate in terms of the arduous barren terrain , in that there's little to no actual trees on the Island, unlike Europe, it's very similar to the West Coast of Scotland, minus the woods and forest's. I spent my time on West Falklands, Fox Bay, it was as bleak and barren as it comes, and the elements wrecked havoc on the landscape. Save a few telephone/power lines, it really was the arsehole of the universe!! -
Config.cpp questions. (HELP! please).
road runner replied to bullseyeonline's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS - CONFIGS & SCRIPTING
If it's a custom model, it has to have an "Insignia" selection on it, and also written into the model.cfg as well. -

Here you go Bullseye, this is my one that I use for multiple uniforms.. just edit it to suit. -

Ah Norrin, a blast from the past, and his Helo taxi script is something I've been trying to get working again in Arma3 over the years. Part of my decision is burn out, spending waaaaaaay too much time in photoshop smashing out new textures, for hours on end, and then finding a better way, and then re-doing the old stuff as being a semi perfectionist drives one crazy.. I've seen potential addons that had massive promise, just never materialise, some addons taking a couple of years to come to fruition, and then be plagued with issues, due to the numerous engine upgrades. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Arma 3 Photography : Questions and Comments
road runner replied to Placebo's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Interesting story behind that Dam Toys 1/6 figure, it was actually based off an...........airsofter!! They thought it was a bona fide DEVGRU guy, but was later revealed to be a hobbyist !! -
RKSL 3 - A new start... Discussion
road runner replied to rksl-rock's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
and you could have accepted the fact the mod maker stated it was by invite only, and moved on, instead you adopted a very shitty attitude towards him, the snarking comments began with your own.. Thank fuck I decided to leave the modding community. -
Virtual Arsenal Unable To Load Loadouts
road runner replied to Col. Ben Sherman's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
It's an ACE issue, they've probably removed the ACE armoury.pbo, using ACE armoury wipes your default one, they're working on a fix to import. -
AV-8B Harrier 2 Series Standalone
road runner replied to firewill's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
These look pretty cool, fixed wings in A3 isn't my thing, the skins could do with a bit of "weathering" though, they look too pristine to me.. nice addition though. -
[IceBreakr/IBIS] Lingor & Dingor for A3
road runner replied to icebreakr's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I believe pretty much ALL of Icebreakers Islands are set to see an imminent update according to recent facebook posts from him. That might sort the Night issue?? -
ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread
road runner replied to max power's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION
Try explaining that to the Brit Mil, where they went from the SLR, to the SA80, that can ONLY be fired from the right shoulder. ;) To be able to switch as you request, you would need an entire set of new animations that would have to cover all the default weapons, as well as every weapons addon ever created.. massive massive massive project.. sadly it's more wishful thinking, than a reality. -
C.O.R.E -- Options and Ops Center
road runner replied to Von Quest's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Have you added the ability for divers to "attach explosives" to ships hulls that you mentioned towards the tail end of the year ? I rarely have any success trying this, with the current crop off "scripts" without the explosives dropping to the seabed!!. -
I'd like to wish all the forum members a Happy and Prosperous New Year, and hope that 2018 brings you all the happiness and satisfaction you desire. Thank you all for those who have supported me by downloading my various addons, through steam, and via armaholic. That being said, I will not be returning to the addon making scene. Not even for friends. I've enjoyed making the stuff that I did, but there's no desire left in me to create for anyone other than myself. Happy New Year everyone when it comes. Road Runner

ACE3 - A collaborative merger between AGM, CSE, and ACE
road runner replied to acemod's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Okay, it's working as it should, I think the issue was the last time I tried, and hit the local exec button, nothing happened, it seemed to hang, this time it generated the command, and the custom load outs are showing, complete. Thanks for your patience. -

road runner replied to acemod's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
not a clue!! I copied and pasted the contents of your post above, it did transfer the load outs as said, but nothing gets loaded, also of interest, there's nothing showing within the arsenal, like the various bits of gear etc. I haven't got a clue what the error means, or says.. apart from " we ain't playing" LOL -

road runner replied to acemod's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
No, this is the error, as you can see, in one screen it says one of the load outs has been loaded, but the character is still default, and when you go to test, it's the default load out. https://imgur.com/a/SZOKq -

road runner replied to acemod's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
That's not a bad suggestion TBH, I do like the ACE arsenal look, it has a natural feel about it, however the ACE team are on it like a tramp on chips, with a transfer option button -

Some of us are not quite savvy with using the debug console thing, the button within the editor as described on GIThub is what most people can relate to, keeping it simple. Appreciate the work being put in to sort it though.
