  4. 42 COMMANDO MILSIM UNIT GRIFFIN HAR2 RHS RETEXTURE -------- About: Two distinct Griffin variants are in RAF service, the HAR.Mk 2, operated by 84 Squadron as a multi-role helicopter from its RAF Akrotiri base, and the HT.Mk 1, flown by 60(R) and 202(R) Sqns as part of the Defence Helicopter Flying School (DHFS). In the support helicopter role, the Griffin HAR2 carries six fully-equipped troops, or up to eight if operationally essential. It also employs underslung Bambi Buckets for fire fighting and has a vital search and rescue (SAR) mission, as well as taking force protection, military aid to civilian authorities and ISTAR roles. The Griffin HAR2 is equipped with night-vision goggles and a FLIR/ TV turret, which affords its crews a relevant night capability. Owing to the hot, arid climate of its Cyprus base, the HAR2 regularly employs its crucial fire fighting capability across the region. Other capabilities include search and rescue. The HT1 lacks the weather radar and one or two other of the HAR2’s operational features, but is equipped to deliver comprehensive multi-engine helicopter training to future frontline pilots and rear crew. It also equips 202(R) Sqn, formerly the SAR Training Unit, providing UK military helicopter pilots with SAR and mountain flying training. RHS UH1Y Retexture of the Griffin HR2 Helicopter. 9. RKSL Studios presents the Official Port of our Puma HC1. NOTE: I'm not entirely happy with this release but im getting pretty frustrated with custom animations. So much so i need a break from it, lest it get binned. So I'm releasing it as a BETA and taking a little break from the project to work on fixes for the Foxhound and some other things. The Puma HC1 first entered service in 1971, and the RAF currently has a fleet of 34 aircraft available to the front-line Support Helicopter Force. The aircraft are operated by Nos 33 and 230 Squadrons, both based at RAF Benson. The combined Puma Force is separated into 5 operational flights and an operational conversion flight, which offers flexibility in its role with both desert warfare and arctic warfare specialist equipment available for fitting to the aircraft. This model was first made in 2008. And bar a few tweaks and fixes hasn't really changed too much. The UV mapping and poly count were designed for the ArmA1 game engine. ArmA3 is far more capable and flexible than anything we had back then. Which means that this particular model is not going to be developed any further. I will continue to support the release until the new models for the HC2 and AS330 Series helos comes online. PLEASE NOTE: This build of the Puma uses a lighting system. To turn on the dash and cabin lights just turn on the aircraft lights. To turn off the external lights all you need do is retract the landing gear. PLANNED FUTURE FEATURES 100% new model. Speed and Limits: Vne = 257kph - Velocity Never Exceed. This is the absolute max safe speed of the aircraft. Going faster than this may result in damage to the airframe or loss of control. Notes: The Puma HC1 has a very high centre of gravity. Be careful when: taxiing during rolling landings. Max safe speed for rolling landing is 75kph Watch for loss of lift when making sharp braking turns. In AFM Try not to use too much rudder about 160kph. Similarly, be careful about pulling up rapidly and over torquing the main rotor. A WORD ABOUT REALISM We strive to make all our addons as realistic as the game engine and our own capabilities allow. This means that real world speeds and capabilities are simulated where possible. Compromises have and will be made where necessary but we will not downscale or completely cripple an aircraft, system or weapon to fit into the limited spaces some ArmA maps provide. We genuinely believe that the manual operation of aircraft is a skill that should be interesting and fun. Not every aircraft flies the same nor do they have the same capabilities. If you can't learn and adapt to change then stick with the vanilla equipment. The Puma has been designed from the ground up to use the Advanced Flight Model. A lot of effort has gone into developing it, give it a try. Its pretty forgiving and damage tolerant. Take the time to learn it and you won't be disappointed. COMMUNITY COMPATIBILITY It has always been a basic tenant of RKSL Studios design philosophy not to negatively affect other community made content. We do not replace core values or modify anything that will affect the function or experience of others. We are happy to discuss optional compatibility patches, but will not exclusively adapt our addons to anyone elses Mod standards. All RKSL Content is tested against the currently available stable build of the Vanilla game and official expansions. 10. SBS Fenrir Company is a European based unit which aims to have realistic intentions and having fun. Here we aim to have fun roleplaying as the British Royal Navy’s special forces called the “Special Boat Service”. Our missions are based around a lot around stealth, sabotage, intelligence gathering, high value target terminations and much much more. Our main code in this group is as follows: 1. Respect All players, staff and guests are to be treated with respect at all times. 2. Communication In this group we do not talk about each other, we talk with each other. 3. Fun We are a basically a group of people just wanting to have some fun together. Don’t be that guy that changes because of a rank or that is being a meme all the time We have Campaign Operations every weekend (Usually on a Saturday, just whenever the host is free) and Training every week to constantly improve on being a good, consistent Arma player whilst enjoying our time. If this has grabbed your interest just hop in the discord and we can recruit you into our ranks: https://discord.gg/67ZYkpC I hope to see you amongst our other brothers! Best regards, Sergeant "Dagger"
  11. The Wrecking Crew The Wrecking Crew is a realism group that prides itself in its dedication to realistic and enjoyable game play, without the rigid aspects like permanent ranks and having to shout "Yes, sir" at a 14 year old. While we play mostly as British Forces to make coherent training possible, we have a whole host of players who come from all over the world, some as far out as Malaysia and South Africa. You select the role you'd like each week for our editor-driven operations, as long as you are competent and prove yourself by passing the required training sessions for that role, with some not requiring any. This allows you to vary from leading a platoon one week to driving a tank the next. The freedom to experience so many different types of game play without hindrance on the co-operation & enjoyability is something you will struggle to find in most other ArmA groups. Public Server If you would like to experience first hand what it's like to play with TWC, come join us on our public server. It runs different dynamic game modes made entirely in-house with a more relaxed game play than in our operations, but it will still give you a good insight in the community and play style. You don't need to sign up to participate on our public server, just the mods and to connect to our TeamSpeak server. We've created an easy to follow guide on how to get connected here. About our Operations Alongside a public server that runs 24/7, the biggest event our group hosts are weekly 'Operations' with between 20 to 40 people. As well as the occasional 'Joint Operation' with other groups which have encompassed up to 70 people total. Our operations span over a century of warfare, with a monthly rotation of World War 2, Cold War, Turn of the Millennium and Modern Operations. This means that in one month you can liberate a French town from Nazi occupation, halt a Soviet mechanised assault in the plains of Northern Germany, brawl with Iraqi armour in the deserts of Kuwait and patrol through the hills of Afghanistan, searching for insurgents. In these operations any recruit or member can play any role as long as he has received the corresponding training. In our operations we strive for maximum realism. We find real-life solutions for problems that we may face in game, while omitting more tedious parts of military duty like saluting, hour-long marches and range etiquette. We aim for the most immersive experience possible by having minimal HUD, first person only, a single life and using ACRE 2 for communications. Our operations take place on Saturday at 18:30 (UK time) and can last up to four hours or more. Interested in trying it out? If you're interested in participating in public, or signing up to try out our operations, you can check out our website for more information: http://www.thewreckingcrew.eu/. Alternatively, you can contact us on Discord, or pop directly onto TeamSpeak where any member will be willing to help you join with no hassle.

  14. Hello all, I am pleased to present my second attempt at making a map - Ypres 1917. Background The map is a WW1-based terrain set during the Third Battle of Ypres, 31st July-10 November 1917, also known as the Battle of Passchendaele although the heightmap and satellite are randomly generated/custom made. For this reason, the Arma 3 WW1 mod is highly recommended. When the map is released in full it is possible that it will also become integrated into that mod, but for now any earlier version will be independently released. Features Map Size - 2km by 2km. The map features over 2.5km of trenches, both front line and communication trenches. Various underground bunkers/ dressing stations. The map features transitions from a small rear area, untouched by war, into the front line and no man's land. There is an airfield behind the lines in this area. Several fortified strong points along the front line, including a ridge with several pillboxes and outposts as well as a sector of the trench that is integrated into the ruins of a village. Different types of sectors along the front line. Because of the size of the map, a single, unbroken continuous trench line would be boring to make and play on. Instead, I've tried to add some variety to the terrain in different parts. One sector of the front line is flooded partially and composed of multiple outposts or fortified shellholes. Another sector features several separated but mutually supporting slit trenches in a forest. The fairly small gaps between different sectors are covered by barbed wire and pillboxes etc. A few artillery positions/emplacements. 2 half-destroyed towns. No man's land - ranges between 300-100m between the opposing trenches. Covered with shell-holes with varying depths that offer cover. Gameplay/playability One of the main issues about making a WW1 map is the Arma 3 AI. The AI aren't really capable of moving within the longer lines of trenches, but I've altered the map in some areas to improve AI playability. Some parts of the trenches are separated for 5-10m which allows the AI to pass through the front line into the rear, or likewise to pass through trenches on the way to attack. At some point I am going to add some better sheltered forming-up positions which will allow the AI to attack or reinforce with ease, making it possible for them to gather for an attack but out of sight of the opposing trench. The AI can't really enter or jump into the opposing trench line unless there are gaps, but they will attack it and stand on the parapet, letting them shoot into the trench. They are however capable of defending trenches pretty easily, and quite effectively, as they just need to be placed on the fire-steps. The AI perform much better around the less complex slit-trenches, which they sometimes are capable of entering/moving around. The shorter the distance between waypoints the better. Sometimes the AI will try to avoid passing through trenches completely and will detour huge distances to get to a waypoint behind the front line. However, this can be avoided if waypoints are placed close to each other. I highly recommend VCOM AI for attacking AI, although it should be disabled on defending AI to prevent them moving and glitching through the trench models. Gameplay - The map requires some skill/planning to attack an opposing trench. E.g. A frontal mass infantry assault in daylight without artillery will fail. However, in order to pull off a successful attack it's necessary to carefully use smoke and artillery, and make use of the cover in shell holes. Anyone willing to playtest the map is welcome. The mod uses assets from IFA3 as well as the WW1 mod, so both are required. To-do list / problems Add more reserve lines of trenches. This should allow for scenarios with multiple stages of attack. Polish the map and tidy up some of the messier sectors of trenches. Add more textures to the map. The current satellite image is provisional, and might be changed. Add more cover to no man's land in the form of craters, debris etc. Make the map in general, but specifically the trenches more easy for AI to use Screenshots Any feedback is welcome.
  15. Veteran found, veteran operated. The Fusiliers is looking for mature individuals who are interested in joining a community based around teamwork, communication and real-world tactics. We run 3 hour operations every Sunday from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm UK time. About 1RRF (1st Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers) is an ARMA 3 military simulation unit, founded in 2016. We use the British Army's FV510 WARRIOR tracked vehicle, specialising in delivering direct action through fire and manoeuvre. The unit is rigorous in its approach to recruitment as we seek to cultivate the right group of people in order to get the most out of the game we play and achieve the unit’s goals of innate realism and full authenticity. Specifically, we seek to recruit those with a natural interest in the modern British Army, and who are thus looking for the closest experience possible. We take an immense amount of pride in disregarding numbers; only retaining those group members with the right attitude to cultivate the best possible atmosphere for enjoyable, immersive military simulation. Operations When the Fusiliers deploy on operations everyone has a part to play in achieving the mission objective. The wide variety of roles available in the infantry and across our supporting arms offer something for everyone. In every case we try to base our tactics, skills and procedures on real-life British Army practice. You will join as a rifleman, but with the right training you can quickly move into a more specialised role: - Armoured Infantry - Joint Helicopter Command - Fire Support ( FSG, Recce, Mortar, Snipers ) - Medical - Signals Armoured Infantry The Fusiliers are currently looking for INFANTRY. We are looking to bolster our infantry sections with dedicated members who are interested in being the tip of the sword for the battalion, digging in on the front lines, kicking in doors and getting in the enemy's face. You'll receive extensive training as an infantryman, and will get the chance to specialise within your assigned section, taking on roles including pointman, light machine gunner, AT rifleman, combat team medic or sharpshooter. There are also spaces available in our supporting elements. If you do have a special interest, please talk to us about it and we'll let you know what your options are. Contact Discord Server Testimonials "Honestly this is a great unit. Once you’re in, you’re family. Myself, Nicholls , & Collister are former military so you can count on a legit military experience, from proper tactics to the fun of being part of a military family". Reynolds "1RRF is part of this dying breed of serious and immersive milsim units. I wouldn't say it's for everyone but it's a trip, and if you're on the same wave, you're going to love it, it's that simple". Iceberg

  17. Metropolitan Police Specialist Firearms Command is looking for new recruits to join our Milsim group. MPSSFC has decided that there really is little to no real Police Milsim units available to join we decided to base ourselves on the UK SFC with sub-divisions of CTSFO and SC&O19 we would like to think that we are not that serious of a Milsim unit we don't command an ultimate level of professionalism and seriousness we just ask that people act appropriately depending on the scenario but for the most part we just want people to enjoy themselves. We accept anyone from anywhere (You don't have to be from the UK to join that is not the case) as long as the applicant meets the application criteria and 16+ and able to speak English. If you wish to join our unit please fill out this simple application form: https://goo.gl/forms/Elj8HX51kFnHHIcw1 Alternatively, you can join our Teamspeak server and find out more and come have a chat with a member of staff! 18. Background The 20th Armoured Infantry Brigade was founded in November of 2015 by friends without sufficient time or hardware enough to fully commit to a proper MilSim unit- but still want to play professionally as a part of a team. Currently numbering 31, we are building up the unit step by step, further improving our experience and versatility as a unit. Mission Our current aim is to provide a professional unit that realistically recreates the role of British Armoured Infantry. In this role, the FV510 WARRIOR sees use within the section for the infantry to fight with and out of. We are also well versed in dismounted infantry tactics for varied operations, and for operations with other units where the use of Warrior wouldn't be necessary. Our overall goal is to provide a unit which uses realistic British SOP's as best as possible, whilst also having fun and banter. Who We're Looking For We are looking for people who are motivated to create a unique MilSim experience. Since we aim to recreate a realistic representation of the British Army, we'd love to find personnel with previous military experience, with experience using WARRIOR and Armoured Infantry, and those with leadership and management experience. As it is, we currently have a fair amount of members who are current or former service members of the British, US, Danish, and Croatian Armed Forces, including members who have served within the actual 20th AIB itself. If you would like to advise or help out, please give us a shout, and we will do our best to accomodate you! We're also looking for modders to help with the creation of realistic in-game variants of the FV510, FV103, FV107, and AS90. We are indeed willing to donate to those willing to help. If you'd like to join a MilSim unit, but do not have the time for regular attendance, consider checking us out. We offer a reserves programme which accommodates your availability once you've completed your training. Things to Note Regular trainings are on Wednesdays and Operations are on Saturdays, both at 1900 UK time, unless we are doing special events or joint operations. We are looking for people aged 16 and up, especially those with prior military or cadets experience Please do not ask us to merge with your unit. We will not accept any offers. We are open to joint operations provided you use ACRE2 and allow joint training to be conducted beforehand. We do not have Sodexo Catering or friday afternoon weapons cleaning, and when you finish your CIC we give you a virtual daysack (which also works at night). We are a Military Simulation unit. We do our best to implement tactics and SOP's that are in use within the British Army. As such, we have a strenuous training programme and qualifications to be earned, and we expect a certain level of maturity and discipline from our members. We do not, however, require members to address each other by rank or act a certain way outside of the game. This is, after all, a video game and lines have been drawn that we do our best not to cross. Summary and Contact Info We're a tight-knit MilSim unit focussed on British Armoured Infantry. Looking for those with military, cadets, or leadership experience. Training/Operations wednesdays/saturdays, 1930 UK. Realistic training and performance, without the real army bullshit. 19. Annnd we're back. After a 6month hiatus for personal reasons things have finally settled down and we're slowly starting to pick up where we left off. To that end I am delighted to announce that we will soon be releasing the ArmA3 native Typhoon v3.000. All the joys of ArmA3 features and the usual RKSL ones... Fully working mirrors BIS flares Engine & Smoke effects PhysX support Tweaked Flight model Improved Air Weapons Pack All previous ArmA2 plugins brought over to ArmA3 And a few more... Frequently Asked Questions Q: Will WIP Wednesdays be returning? A: Yes but only once at the end of each month. As much fun as they were they turned into a bit of a monster in terms of time to prepare and publish. They took quite a lot of time away from the actual act of making content which wasnt the point. Q: Will you be bringing all the old RKSL content over? A: Yes, eventually. One by one we will port the existing models over and include the new ArmA3 features. The first releases will be direct ports with the basic A3 features etc. Later releases will see improvements or in some cases new models. Q: What about new content? A: Yes there will be some new content but we are going to focus on the stuff we have shown you already in the previous WIP Wednesdays. Q: When are you going to release XXXXX addon(s) A: If you've been hanging around in this community long enough you already know the answer to that. If you are new... (Old timers all together now)... "When its done!!" :P Q: Whats happening with IAP? (Ilhas Africanos Project) A: We'll create a new thread for that at the appropriate time. Thats all for the moment. Keep an eye on the RKSL website for more details. www.RKSLStudios.info
  20. As promised, the RKSL Christmas tradition continues, Here's the second release. RKSL Studios presents the Official Port of our Foxhound LPPV. The Ocelot Foxhound LPPV was specifically designed to meet the UK MoD’s £200m LPPV programme requirements and replace the Snatch Land Rovers in use with the army. The Snatch Land Rovers have been criticised for their inability to provide protection against IEDs and roadside bombs in Iraq and Afghanistan. The LPPV programme’s objective was to have 400 light protected patrol vehicles production ready by 2010. The UK MoD purchased two Ocelot Foxhound vehicles for testing in April 2010. The invitation to tender (ITT) was issued in May 2010. In September 2010, the Ocelot Foxhound LPPV was selected under the programme against the contender Supacat and NP Aerospace consortium’s SPV400. An initial £180m order for 200 Ocelot Foxhound vehicles was made through urgent operational requirements (UOR) process in November 2010 In December 2011 a further 100 Ocelot Foxhounds were ordered as part of a £400m package of protected vehicles and Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) technology for British Forces in Afghanistan. The contract was finalised in June 2012. The UK MoD also plans to acquire additional 25 vehicles at a cost of £30m. ArmA2 to ArmA3 This is an improved port of the original A2 release into the A3 game engine. The model itself is largely unchanged with some minor edits to add features and fix some old material bugs. This version also supports some of the newer A3 features such as texture customisation. ADDON FEATURES MRAP capability 2x GPMG Thermal Imaging all around Cameras Thermal Image Reversing Camera Turn In/Turn Out on the turrets 3x Skins Desert Tan NATO Green United Nations A WORD ABOUT REALISM We strive to make all our addons as realistic as the game engine and our own capabilities allow. This means that real world speeds and capabilities are simulated where possible. Compromises have and will be made where necessary but we will not downscale or completely cripple an aircraft, system or weapon to fit into the limited spaces some ArmA maps provide. GPMG Iron sights - When I asked an RAF Regiment Gunner (that spent 3 tours on the Foxhound) how easy was it to use the iron sights on the Foxhound he replied, "Nearly impossible, the pivot system doesn't let you in most angles unless you are very tall and can twist yourself in knots." When I asked him how he aimed he replied, "That's what tracers are for". Engine Power - The current engine/physx setup approximates the real world power. ArmA simply cannot simulate the range of the real world gearbox. Simply put these are not as fast as the vanilla ArmA MRAPS but they are easier to use at patrol speeds. HISTORY Only milestones are mentioned. 21. 51st Infantry Brigade Headquarters Scotland Milsim Unit Who are we? We are the 51st Infantry Brigade, established in early 2016 we have created a community emulating the 51st and using Her Majesty’s Armed Forces tactics, ranks and doctrine. As a whole our community consists of like-minded lads who wish to play Arma 3 together in a structured, professional yet fun environment. Our in-house training program has a realistic yet applicable training regime called the Combat Infantryman's Course and teaches recruits all they need to know to operate within a training, live-fire exercise or a deployment around the globe. When do we play? Our official events are hosted on Saturday's at 19:30 GMT, those who wish to attend must have completed at least phase one training. Throughout the remainder of the week we offer unofficial events which individuals can partake in regardless of their Phase 1 training status, these range from section based training's to playing in-house missions created by our G3 staff office. Although we are an Arma 3 military simulations unit, we host other events within games such as Squad or Digital Combat Simulator along with the many other simulation based games. Available Roles Fundamentally, each and every member who goes through our phase training program is trained as an Infanteer although everyone will receive specific specialist role training. Upon completing your Phase 1 and 2 training you’ll be assigned to an infantry section by one of our G1 staff members. We have support assets attached to our brigade, these range from Medical, Signals, Artillery and Engineers. Those who display an interest in entering one of our assets will have to serve time in one of our infantry sections (1 month active service - exception being an Urgent Operational Requirement) before transferring to their desired role within the brigade itself. What are we looking for? - A mature and professional attitude. - Willingness to learn new things. - A working headset & microphone. - The ability to set aside time for our main events at 19:30 - 22:30GMT. - Dedication to the unit and adhere to our no dual-clanning policy. - Have a sense of character & humour. Under the Age of 17? Although we have a 17 year old and above age limit, those who don’t meet our age requirements and are between 12 - 16 years of age are eligible to apply for our cadet programme and will undergo the same training regime as the regulars themselves. Those in the cadet programme are monitored through an extended probationary period to gauge their level of maturity and level of professionalism. If they meet our standards they can take up a leadership position within the cadets or they can be reassigned to the regular portion of the unit before they meet the age requirements. Either way once they reach the age limit of 17 they will be moved to the regulars. The Application Process There are a few ways you can get involved, you can simply join our TS server and join the ‘Looking for a G1 Recruiter’ and ask any questions you have on joining the 51st Infantry Brigade. You can also make your way to our website which is available at the bottom of this post, create an account on the forum and reference the ‘Information for Applicants’ post in the Enlistment area. 22. 2 PARA is a British Realism unit. We started off in ARMA 2 in 2014, but have now returned in ARMA 3, with many of our old members joining back to re-create the fun we had back then. Our aim is to provide a realistic, but fun experience to all of our members through our high quality missions every Saturday at 8pm GMT (Or BST during summer). We use a variety of mods, such as ACE, ACRE, and a collection of British Unit and vehicle mods to allow us to emulate the parachute regiment. Why join us? We play Arma in a tactical, realistic way, using teamwork to achieve our objectives. We have a simple phase one training, therefore this group is perfect for those that want a mature, tactical community, but maybe don’t have the time or the interest in hyper-realistic milsim groups as we don't try to match the real world procedures. The term we use to describe this is 'casual milsim'. If you cannot attend every mission due to other commitments or uncertainty, you can also join the reserves; this allows you to join in when you’re able, although you won’t be able to have any specialist roles. Requirements We have some basic requirements we ask from people joining, but the most important is for people to be mature when we are playing: Mature Working Microphone Own Arma 3 (No DLC required) Speak English fluently Can attend trainings/missions at times above (unless reserves) Not in another group already (that clashes with our times) Extra Info We use highly modified and simplified British tactics to fit the game. Our main aim is to have fun. We aim to achieve this by using teamwork in an efficient and professional manner. The ranks we have are 'functional’. They only exist to fit their own function. For example, as we are only up to one section currently, there is only a need for a Cpl to lead them. We are based on the Parachute Regiment, therefore our main role in conventional warfare will be para-drops and air assaults. Whereas, in counter insurgency campaigns, we will be replicating what most modern forces do in conflicts like Afghanistan and Iraq. You do not need a specific interest in the Parachute Regiment or the British Army to join, although you will get most out of the unit if you do. If this post has managed to persuade you to sign up or at least ask a few more questions of what we can do for you, then either sign up on the website - https://2-para.co.uk/ - or, add me on Steam - razer313 Thanks for reading, hope to see you soon!
  23. 16 AIR ASSAULT BRIGADE BRITISH MILSIM ESTABLISHED 2005 The 16 Air Assault Brigade is looking for mature individuals who are interested in joining a community based around teamwork, communication and real-world tactics. We run 3 hour operations every Wednesday and Sunday from 8 pm to 11 pm UK time. About us The 16 Air Assault Brigade is a multinational Arma 3 milsim community; a gaming community which looks to implement real world organisation, communication and tactics into ArmA 3. Our Structure, organisation and tactics are based off the British Army's 16 Air Assault Brigade and we strive for a high level of realism and immersion. To accomplish this our 40+ members run an infantry platoon supported by medics, heavy weapons and aircraft every Wednesday and Sunday. Members are encouraged to join our supporting arms, whether as a medic, pilot, mortarman or heavy weapons specialist but it is important to note that everyone is a rifleman first. From the Major, right down to the newest recruit. Success and Stability Success and stability characterise The 16 Air Assault Brigade, which has existed continuously since 2005. This is enabled by our hardworking and dedicated community who strive to maintain the consistency and quality which we are known for. Every member is valuable, and we take great care to develop our members, giving them the tools to maintain and extended the high standards of the community, long after the original membership has moved on. This allows The 16 Air Assault Brigade to run seamlessly, despite changes which can damage other communities. Joining Due to our standards we do have some requirements. You must be 18 years old or older, have a working microphone and be able to regularly attend operations on Wednesday and Sunday from 8 pm to 11 pm UK time. Additionally, we do not allow our members to be in any other ArmA milsim communities, this is because we expect a high level of commitment from all our members. You can be in as many non-milsim/non-Arma communities as you like, so long as they don't interfere with your commitment to The 16 Air Assault Brigade. If you are in doubt about any of our rules, please feel free to ask a question to myself or another member of our team. Contact details bellow. If you feel you’d be a good fit for the The 16 Air Assault Brigade, you can join by heading over to our website and filling in an application form. This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other, and make sure the The 16 Air Assault Brigade is a good fit for you, and you a good fit for it. Once accepted you are considered a full member of the community, entering as a recruit until passing our phase one training. 25. 11th Armoured Division "Black Bulls" Who Are We: The 11th Armoured Division is a realism unit portraying the 11thAD (WW2) and 1RTR (Modern day) of Her Majesties Royal Army. We are a small scale unit (20 active) typically operating at Platoon level but as we expand we plan to begin company level operations. Our main focus is on accurately portraying motorized/mechanized infantry and Armored units in Arma 3, from the weapons and specials to the tactics and commands given. Training in the unit is based on the manuals of the time so you can rest assured your experience will be as close to what the real soldiers of the time went though. What do we do: Our unit strives to provide a realistic experience in ARMA 3, to this end we organize campaigns with shifting front lines and the ever present need for supply. What we play as well: We are playing Arma to prepare us for when Post Scriptum is released. We also play War Thunder as a Historical based squadron, to play against other like historical squadrons. We also hope to get into Squad as the Royal Dragoon Guards.
