Hi, I'm new to making missions, and I'm having lots of fun learning the editor in Arma3. I want to make some units disappear after they've completed their waypoints, how do I do that? Putting dismissed in the waypoint type doesn't seem to do anything. Cheers.

Definitely looking forward to the sling thingy, I tried it briefly on dev branch, very nice addition. But 16$ for 2 helis? No thanks. I'll stick with sling loading on the vanilla helis.

I keep getting ctd after a while in mp on the ahoy world servers after the patch. I haven't had any ctd in sp. I've played through about half of the campaign. So far every single friendly AI has been killed in every mission. Meh.. Gonna try with cCombat.

As I expected it's quite a disappointing experience so far. Annoying Arma2 laggy mouse control, relatively bad graphics, low fps, unstable servers, lack of new features and ideas compared to the mod. I did have a good time with 8 other people in a group until the server crashed. The foundation for some good gameplay is there, it just needs moar work. My 5870 is also loud as hell in the game, heating up a lot compared to e.g. Arma3. -

It baffles me BI haven't made it a priority to give us this simple feature. Everybody wants it. It has been relatively easy (I think) for several modders to do. How many years must we wait? Don't worry about AI having weaponresting, that's not very important. -
Just wondering if suppressing of AI is something there's being looked at by BI?

on stable branch the view gets stuck to zoomed in after looking through either the nightstalker or thermal scope. to unstuck it i have to double tab - on keypad.

i'd prefer to have TOH on steam, not sure if i should wait for sale on steam, or get it now from bi store...

I'd like to be able to lock moving targets with tab in uav's. It would be nice, when commanding an ai squad with an ai uav soldier in the group, to be able to order the uav soldier to launch his quad uav by selecting him, and use the 6 menu. The uav could default to fly straight up to 200 meters, and then have the uav soldier automatically report enemy locations to the rest of the group, so each ai know where the targets are. Also, please turn down the engine volume when you're in 1st person in the quad uav. PIP from uav without being in uav console view. It could show up above the gps map when you press right ctrl m. I also would like if the ground uav vehicles were controlled like in World of Tanks, where you can move the turret with the mouse while driving with keyboard.

Weapon resting is already available in other mods, what we wish for is to have it in the vanilla game.

Any progress on this, BI? Playing vanilla without VTS weapon resting is really a sub-par experience.

Wow, what a nice gun pack, very nice models! I Like that you have added a click sound to the firing rate switch. The guns have a tad too little recoil for my taste, but it's not a big deal. Sounds are nice. And workable bipods, sweet. Great job.

Very nice, the more custom objects on Altis the merrier. :D Ps. Phone booths will probably only exist in dictionaries in 2035. But whatever, they will add atmosphere to towns. Kiosks will add some realism too I'm sure. Also, some parts of Altis where there's just grass looks a bit bad, maybe spread out some more of the small rocks, they look pretty good.
