Googling Hezbollah (or variations) + Syria brings up some useful results too.

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

I reckon you could probably just use rhs_main and get away with it. I haven't poked through the RHS config much, but I wager that the devs have made most, if not all of the subordinate PBOs dependant upon the main one.

You're not looking for errors. You'll see what entries you need to put in your mission's addons array in the .rpt when each addon loads. For example, you'll be looking for entries similar to the following (...pretty much everything prefixed with RHS):

If you look in your .rpt log file when you've loaded the RHS modset, you should find the prerequisite entries there.

Fair enough if you want to give them the F90 to differentiate them from everyone else. Regular infanteers will be picking up the F90 shortly, if they haven't already. The SF lads trialled them (as they often do for various bits of kit) but won't be adopting them.

It's fair call if you want the SASR to be distinguishable from other SF elements by giving it the F90, but if realism is your aim then you're better off giving them an AR derivative such as the Mk18 or similar. Neither SASR or 2 CDO use the Steyr. An earlier poster was on the mark when he mentioned that a lot of SF look similar; Multicam, some sort of lightweight helmet, some sort of lightweight plate carrier and some sort of AR derivative is pretty much the order of the day among Western nations.

Any chance of an update to celebrate the latest version of the AWM/AWC pack? Currently, an error is thrown and the following is launched into the .RPT: 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.scope'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: Error: creating weapon bg_weaponparameters with scope=private 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.displayName'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.nameSound'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.type'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.picture'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.Library'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry '.libTextDesc'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.model'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.simulation'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.fireLightDuration'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.fireLightIntensity'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.fireLightDiffuse'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: Size: '/' not an array 16:28:17 Warning Message: Size: '/' not an array 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.fireLightAmbient'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: Size: '/' not an array 16:28:17 Warning Message: Size: '/' not an array 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.weaponLockDelay'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.weaponLockSystem'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.cmImmunity'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.weight'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.lockingTargetSound'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: Size: '/' not an array 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.lockedTargetSound'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: Size: '/' not an array 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.detectRange'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: '/' is not a value 16:28:17 Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/bg_weaponparameters.muzzles'. 16:28:17 Warning Message: Size: '/' not an array

...disregard - I think the problem I'm reporting belongs here, instead.
  11. Hmmm. I can't remember if I've reported this one before, but I'm getting the following bug when using CBA and TPW in the virtual arsenal. 21:53:15 Error in expression <mespace getvariable _x;(vehiclevarname _t) setmarkerpos position _t;} foreach > 21:53:15 Error position: <_t) setmarkerpos position _t;} foreach > 21:53:15 Error Undefined variable in expression: _t 21:53:15 File A3\Missions_F_Bootcamp\Scenarios\Arsenal.VR\init.sqf, line 211 It's odd, the error looks like a shonky script in the mission itself, but for some reason it only appears when the TPW pack is active. Could TPW be hijacking that variable in some way/shape/form? I've had it for quite some time, but only decided to troubleshoot down to the cause this evening when I got sick of looking at it. Thoughts?

Veteran mod (VTN) - announcement and WIP

Well, the screenie with the town signs ruined it, but I was fairly certain the village visible in the first shot was Montignac anyway, so... :) Everon, of course.

    ASR AI 3

If memory serves, it's based in the config of the ammunition, using allowagainstinfantry and the cost-gain balance. This is one of the newer ways the devs are trying to manage it.

    Zee Identity Pack

That's the usual drill. Starfish or tiger claw is the only way to go... although all green with a black mustache has also proven humorous.
  15. ...I trust you've kept the ability to run over the commander during the cutscene and snatch failure from the jaws of competence? If not, get back into the editor, please. :D Srsly though, thanks for your hard work.

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

My favourites are on the Facebook page. WIP photo gets posted, nek minnit the comments start rolling in with "plz maek item-that's-probably-already-been-considered-or-is-heinously-outside-of-scope", often cleverly veiled with a "luks gud" prefix.

Check here. Srsly though, if it's currently in-service, there's a good chance.
  18. "Of course I can, you idiot. Corporal, execute one of them every minute. And you... one more word and you'll be the first to die." Ah, the nostalgia!

I agree - trying to simulate HF propagation and shit like sporadic E ruining your day is probably beyond the scope of the series. :D

  22. As long as it gets killjoy cranking out more Cold War scenarios, I'm happy. :D

It depends what you're doing with the weapon. The below information relates to our (Australian) drills, by the way. If you're going from the unload through load to action (e.g. the first time you load the weapon), then yes, you cock the weapon after you place rounds on the feed tray and close the cover (then apply the safety and close the dust cover, naturally, to complete the action drill). However, if you are conducting a reload or the stoppage IA, you cock the weapon before you open the cover, replace the box and place rounds on the feed tray. It means you can see into the chamber for brass or link causing an obstruction (the best stoppage I've seen involved three rounds melding in the chamber). This means that during the reload, yes, you are placing the belt into the weapon with the bolt locked to the rear, but that's how we do it. Proper trigger finger discipline makes this a non-issue. Because weapons typically come pre-loaded in the vast majority of A3 scenarios, toadie's drills are correct.
  24. Thanks for the hard work, team. Much obliged. :D
