    The recent evolution of this mod is simply outstanding. I have a question though. it's regarding NVG packing. Are you sure the current method you're using is still working as intended on stable branch? I've been trying to do the same and nothing seems to work right. IIRC you were using (sunOrMoon < 1) as the condition for equip the NVGs. I've checked you're source now and see that you've changed to (sunOrMoon < 0.1), in an attemp to make them equip the devices earlier, I believe... Now, I've been checking the result of sunOrMoon in real time, and it changes from 1 to 0.99 when it's actually very dark, and if left on their own, the units would lower their NVGs a lot earlier than that. I'm really confused by all this, could you shed some light on the subject?

  9. I went back to Sahrani after a long break, and found out the AI can't drive straight for some reason. I mean, instead of following a road, they do a serpent like pattern. Is that a known bug, or should I report it as a new one?

    Welp... good luck out there. For there are no other large scale infantry simulator in existence today. Even when most of the features will be partly broken and malfunctioning, I'll still be trying to script my way through, to keep on getting the extremely unique experience only this series have produce for me... That being said, I agree the experience is becoming more and more frustrating with time, and ignoring the glaring problems of the core mechanics, while announcing new systems and features being added in the future, is not what I'd like to hear from the devs.

    Oh you know they will pull that off, that will be the new problem. "I've been head shot killed by an AI using a pistol from 75 mts. bla, bla bla" kind of winning will follow through.
  15. Is it possible to verify Workshop files integrity? AFAIK only game and DLC file are checked.

  17. TBH, I don't know what I would miss the most, if many good takes of how weapons should sound, or all the frigging AKs to sound like the same weapon they are...

    First things first, this mod does not move units around. Units that move to the position of known enemies, do so because the waypoints they had allow them to. If the groups move to your position with the mod loaded, and not without it, then my only guess is that there are groups in between the two +600 mts. radio range, acting as relay units. I'd like to ask Robalo if such a scenario is possible though, meaning, if a group that got informed of an enemy group, does, in turn, relay the newly discovered enemy to it's onw 600 mts. radio range.

    JSRS might be triggering the underlaying memory related problem, that exists now in the game engine. Like I said, I've had the exact same problem WITHOUT this mod loaded. We'll have to wait for BIS to solve the underlaying problem, and then recheck JSRS.

    For the most part, yes. It will not generate any conflicts. You will be missing the tweaks to how the AI uses their weapons, basically.

    I know I'm taking a wild guess here, but I think more is not being done in the AI department, because the devs know they don't have any spare computational power left, and therefore can't implement anything that put any more stress on the engine. When they finally change the engine to something multithread, I'm hoping to see big improvements in this regard, and maybe a whole revamp of the AI system.

    Many thanks for the update, can't wait to see the new camos! And I just want you to know, that after the visual upgrade, your textures are one of the few that manage to look great, under any lightning conditions, regardless of time of the day and weather. Great work.

    I hear you. We'll have to wait until the problem stops happening in vanilla, to see if JSRS4 is producing a similar problem after that.
