    Helsreach movie - Warhammer 40K

Hello everyone for all you passionate Warhammer 40K fans here on the forum. I stumbled some time ago upon this movie and I have watched it several times now. Here's the link. I personally think it is very well made and I'm realizing now what a great piece of art this fan made movie is. The author of the movie is Richard Boylan. The Space Marine models you will see further ahead in this movie are made by TheJoazzz. I think they are looking pretty good. What I find awesome is the mix of hand drawn images and 3d models later on in this movie. I can only recommend it. I hope you can enjoy it the same as I've enjoyed this movie. Cheers

  4. Oh man sorry I misunderstood with the youtube channel. My bad.😉
  5. Hi Janez I'm still around but mostly reading rather then commenting. As for my youtube channel I actually never intended to do one . . .for being honest that happened during the lock-down. I'm not considering myself in that sense a content creator I'm just enjoying to play some other games which I was formerly unable to enjoy. I was still editing in ArmA 2 together with a friend of mine, Batteriefuhrer, long after ArmA 3 had been released. It was a great experience and we released a single player mission pack for the CWR2 MOD in ArmA 2 to pay homage to all Moders who contributed to this incredible MOD especially Wolle. Unfortunately most of the community already moved on to ArmA 3. But we did release it . . . unfortunately it got lost when ArmAholic ceased to exist. Since I discovered Operation Flashpoint shortly after it's release although I signed up on the forum back in 2004 only. Operation Flashpoint and the whole ArmA series prevented me for a long time to enjoy other games. In OFP and Arma you had the absolute freedom to tackle any mission in different ways. This was a freedom that most of the games were lacking at that time and I couldn't really enjoy them it always drove me back to OFP and the ArmA series later on. Moreover the ArmA community is amazing. I've tried so many different things out over the years and I really want to thank all community members which have contributed to this community with all the amazing mods and Addons which have been released over all these years. You are actually the main reason why it took me 19 years before I really "overdosed". LOL😁 I didn't want to derail this thread just to conclude I just want to say one last thing. When you enjoy doing something it brings you happiness and IMHO investing time in something that makes you happy is never wasted time whatever it is we are doing. All the best my friend.
  6. Having spent most of time in the editor it's never wasted time to me. It's to the contrary something creative I enjoyed doing over the years. I took a long break with ArmA 3 let's say I practically overdosed and it was time to take a break. My best wishes to all of you. Stay frosty

    [sp_camp] Shadow Fall

Great pics. Keep it up. They are looking awesome. Cheers
  8. Hi everybody! Even we ended out on place ten we would like to thank everybody who was involved in the MEC 2004. We hope there'll be a sequel.  We would like to announce just one thing Yes here it is. We are finally releasing the ----Too Young To Die --- campaign . At a certain point I thought we wouldn't be able to make it... to terminate it. But the fact that Too young to die entered the Mec finalst Top Ten gave us the strenght to finish what had been undone. We would have liked to release a much bigger campaign with more missions but it was impossible. We've put a lot of hard work in it and we sacrificed  all our freetime we had. It was naturally our choice. Now she F+++++g hates me. With this campaign we want to give our contribution to the OFP community . I was reading lot's of posts about topics concerning missionmaking. They are so many different opinions about how a mission' s supposed to be. You'll never do it right to anybody. We didn't  use any addons apart of Kegetys Editor & Object addon. It was our decision not to use any addons even  I saw a lot of good ones on various sites. A Hi to all you fantastic addon makers. It was also  kind of  a challenge to create a story without using the newest addons. Some of you might hate us for that. You see .. can't make it right. For Toy and me the essence of Operatrion Flashpoint is the mission. Hell thats why we bought the game for. To play the missions and the campaigns. That's fun.  We hope you guys have as much fun playing this campaign,as we had making it. All events are based during Cold War Crisis. You will be part of the retreat on Malden. The main caracter is Alex Rico. A guy who joines the corps because of the loss of a beloved person. You'll meet inside the campaign Koslowskis brother, Rico's best friend who joined the army to watch his younger brothers back who's involved in some action together with Armstrong. You will find out more playing it. Inside this campaign are 7 missions and some cinematics Sometimes you won't find any briefings because nothing has been planed. Pay attention to Radio HQ when transmiting coordinates, mostly you gotta get you bearings yourself. I've beta tested the missions and I had lots of fun playing them, you need more brains than guts to survive this. So far everything seems to work perfectly and we couldn't detect any bugs. Some missions are very hairy . But I don't want to reveal too much. Mission Requirements: To play this campaign you need OFP Resistance - Upgrade 1.96 . We never tested it on a previous version. A high end computer is recommended to run it. I run a 1,4 ghz and sometimes I'm in crisis so be advised folks. OFP Resistance &Upgrade 1.96 Supported Language: English Audio : - Custom sounds - Custom speech & radio files The big filesize of the campaign is due to an enormous number of speech, radiomessages, Special FX Sounds and others... Addons included (217 kb) Any feedback is really appreciated. Thanks to everyone who played our mission and if you liked it, spread the word. You can download our Too Young To Die Campaign at OFPEC. It' s still in the pending Campaign category, Here's the link: http://www.ofpec.com/missions/mission_detail.php?ID=1269 To the next one. Â

Too Young To Die Campaign release

Hello KuBi4k I'm terribly sorry for my late reply. I just found out that I wasn't following this topic so no notification reached me. Yeah the escape from Desert Island is the hardest mission of them all. I remember countless play test runs where I get killed over and over again.. There is a way though and I'm not sure I remember correctly. Hide your buddies in the tents and then hide in a tent as well. Once you observe that MG on the tower is not watching your direction to your right is an Arc entrance - exit and there should be an ammo crate where you need to take cover behind it and arm yourself. You must position your self correctly otherwise the MG on the tower is going to kill you. at the same time you need to pay attention to patrolling soldiers once you escaped the alarm is triggered and there are a lot of enemies in the fortress First thing you need to eliminate the guards on the towers then comes the long process of wiping out the enemy one by one it's a tedious and long task. When you eliminated soldiers and BMP's only then give orders to your buddies . . . arm them and try to escape from the Island. Escaping from the fortress is a hell of a task. I managed to do it twice against an innumerable amount of failures. Again my apologies for my late reply. All the best
  10. Is this terrain still be worked on or has this project being abandoned? It is a real pity if this project won't be completed. Sorry for asking but last time I posted was nearly 3 years ago. Thanks for any kind of feedback. I did a search but couldn't come up with nothing. cheers

    Helsreach movie - Warhammer 40K

Hey thanks for posting the video. It's a short movie with real actors. Awesome stuff I haven't seen this before . . . great find. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8RfCCzWsMgNspTI-GTFenQ here's the link to Luetin09 you tube channel. You can find tons of material on the warhammer 40k lore. He has some great videos IMHO. cheers

    Helsreach movie - Warhammer 40K

Hi Valken yeah all the movies creators did an outstanding job. The visuals of Anarchy Reigns and Astartes are definitely of a very high quality. I'm wondering how they hell did they do that. I mean these are single guys who did these movies. It is really astonishing to see such a quality in fan made content. Yeah I can imagine that. LOL😁

    Helsreach movie - Warhammer 40K

Yeah man . . . Astartes is of such a high quality it is really baffling. Reigns of terror is outstanding as well. I've watched it 3 times by now. Great movie I need to watch it some more time to absorb the whole details. I'm not following that much the table top games of GW but I'm interested in the Lore which is vast and complex. Luetin 09 has made a lot of videos explaining everything in detail. If you are into it check his channel out it's definitely worth it. Yeah I'm following the fan made movies made on Warhammer 40k which are really impressive to say the least and everything which has to do with the lore is mostly well made. I will post some links to Luetin videos very soon . He has also somewhat like over 300 ArmA 3 videos. I'm wondering if he's a member of this forum. I did a search but I couldn't come up with anything. All the best 😀

    Helsreach movie - Warhammer 40K

Hi Mr. Burns Thanks for posting the video. I haven't seen this one yet. After watching it I'll definitely revert. I saw the movie several times by now . . . a lot of people don't like the hand drawn part of the movie. I, to the contrary, find it interesting how Boylan mixed 3 models with hand drawings which I find pretty cool- Overall I enjoyed this fan made movie a lot more then the trash "Hollyweird" is producing currently. lately there's a lot of "fuckery" going on. GTA 3 remastered comes to my mind. I personally believe that ArmA wouldn't have gone that far without the modding scene. It's what keeps games alive over the long haul. Cheers Edit: Anarchy reigns is really incredible. This is outstanding to say the least. Loved every single bit of it. I don't know if you have seen Astartes? Great movie as well check it out. Incredible stuff. The warhammer 40k verse is very fascinating. Luetin has made some great videos on the 40K lore. Hope you enjoy the short movie.

    ARMAHOLIC website not working

I have still all the addon I downloaded for OFP,-Armed Assault- Arma2. Around two years ago I gave all the OFP stuff at my disposal to Foxhound to be implemented to Armaholic since he was building an OFP section as well. There was little stuff in the OFP section at that times. But in the end it has never been implemented. Too much work too many addon I guess. If everything goes wrong and we can't find a solution I can give all the stuff that I have on my hard drives. It's mostly addon and missions - campaigns. I have little to no scripts. Most probably my old OFP archives contains the most stuff. But there is plenty of stuff for Armed Assault and Arma2 as well. This is just too bad!!!! 15 years of modding community content not available anymore for the public, it makes me shudder just thinking of how much stuff was on ArmAholic. I hope a solution can be found.

    ARMAHOLIC website not working

Last time I accessed ArmAholic was last Sunday the 23rd. It was still up during the last weekend. Seems I've done my last download from that site. If it's gone forever than this is a sad day for me indeed. Most addons I use are installed manually downloaded mostly from ArmAholic. This is just bad. I hope that Foxhound can give us an explanation to what really happened to his site. Cheers

My favorite band ever It's never getting old to listen to tool. What a great band.
  21. Hello everyone I hope that all of you are doing alright. I dropped a little bit out of the community due to RLF issues but I'm showing up from time to time by to check on how you magnificent bastards are doing. LOL The reason why I opened this topic is that I'm lately uploading all kinds of gaming videos on my youtube channel. It's mostly concentrating on war games in general, but I'm playing all kinds of games from space games to RPGs to RTS or TBS. I don't intend to earn money with that because I already got a job. LOL Youtube gives the possibility to promote other channels on your own videos by adding a card. I wanted to ask if some of you are regularly uploading ArmA content or gaming content in general on your channels. I'm willing to promote your channels on my videos by adding a card to some of my videos which will point and promote your channel. I need naturally your authorization to do this first, hence this topic. If you are interested please let me know and I will definitely promote your channel on my videos with the cards. My frequency of uploading videos is 1-2 per week. Now that we are under quarantine it has nearly doubled. Now you might ask yourself why I'm doing this and what I have to gain? Well, the answer is very easy, maybe I earn a couple of subscriptions on my channel in the worst case and a lifetime friend in our virtual reality in the best case. I made some lifetime friends in this community although we have never seen each other face to face, we are writing regularly keeping contact. There are no bad intentions behind this post. I'm not here to promote my channel in this topic I just like to get in touch with some of you guys in case you consider it a good thing for your own channel. We have a common interest otherwise we wouldn't be here. In case you have a small channel like mine and you would like to increase views, please consider my proposal what do you have to lose? In case you are interested, drop me a PM or let me know in this topic. With that being said I gonna sign off. My best wishes to all of you. nettrucker

Are you a game content creator on youtube?

Yeah, copyright strikes suck. I did some videos on my favorite games per category I used official trailers for that. Each video got a copyright claim so I know how it's going. Thanks for the explanation and your reply- Good luck with your future gaming channel. Cheers

Are you a game content creator on youtube?

Sorry to hear that. How come that your channel got suspended? Thanks for commenting.
  25. I will support the CSLA Mod Team as well. I always enjoyed the content they have created since OFP times and it was always quality work. The Arma 2 CSLA mod was great as well I have fond memories. They have dedicated lot's of time during all these years to create their Mod for free to let community enjoy it. now that they have the possibility to get maybe it little but more then only recognition I will happily support them. I'm mostly into Single player and CSLA has always provided SP content. Looking forward to it. Just my 2 cents. Cheers
