Bushlurker's Carraigdubh Terrain
Savage_Donkey replied to Savage_Donkey's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I haven't touched Arma modding in years so I have no intentions of updating the map and unfortunately don't know what would be causing the status access violation. Like Harzach said, the license leaves it open for whoever wants to take a look at it. IIRC, the only changes I made from the files in the original armaholic download were some config edits and replacing the pond objects with empty p3ds. -
I have decided to port Bushlurker's Carraigdubh terrain in time for Saint Patrick's Day (its 4th anniversary). The map has a few issues that I hope to address in the coming weeks: Pond Object doesn't load No background mission for main Arma 3 Screen Unfinished Satmap for selection screen No Key/bisign Others? Permission: All credit for the original map goes to Bushlurker REQUIREMENTS: CUP Terrains full Download: Dropbox v1.1: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kmhs9yrypy9yk8m/%40carraigdubhv1.zip?dl=0 Google Drive v1.1: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0ByNcnNF7Q561WVE0U0FwWjJsMEU PWS v1.1: http://withsix.com/p/Arma-3/mods/e77QjExEeUGeghG1Oz2TIw/Bushlurker's-Carraigdubh-Terrain Armaholic v1.1: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=32518

Yes it's from the 1.84 update from today:
-
I doubt there is a way to turn it off as its not a crosshair, but rather a literal scribble on the texture of the glass to assist with aiming.

Not necessarily. However, having mods does increase the chance of breaking saves. I've found that if a mod requires another mod that is not loaded, then the saves will not work.
-
You can go to the Arma 3 settings, and under the betas tab. There is a beta access box where you can type in "Arma3Legacy174" and it'll unlock the previous version for you to use. I think it is only available until the next update.
-
1) Right click Arma 3 in the steam window 2) Select properties and a new window will open 3) Click the 'Local Files' tab 4) Select 'Verify Integrity of Game Files'. Steam should detect the missing files and download them.

While I doubt there'll be any dlcs with that focus this late in Arma 3's life, there's always CUP.

TF47 Launchers [WIP]
Savage_Donkey replied to blackpixxel's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
Assuming that blackpixxel is okay with people doing so, all one has to do is open the pbo, remove the mission folder, remove any reference to the mission from the config.bin , then repbo the file. It is an easy fix that would only take 5 minutes. -
Missions folder not in documents/arma 3 folder?
Savage_Donkey replied to lv1234's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
You'll need some way to run the scripts; simply copying them to the folder won't work. Depending on what you need there are a few different ways to accomplish this, but all can be found on the wiki. -
Missions folder not in documents/arma 3 folder?
Savage_Donkey replied to lv1234's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
You can grab pbo manager here. It'll allow you to extract the pbo and also pack it back into a pbo. -
Missions folder not in documents/arma 3 folder?
Savage_Donkey replied to lv1234's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Yes, but does it not have the mission pbo? Then all you would need to to is extract the pbo to your Documents\Arma 3\missions (or anywhere if you're not planning on editing it with the eden editor), and copy the scripts into that folder and make adjustments, then re-pbo the file and drop it into your Arma 3\Missions or Arma 3\MPMissions where it'll show up under scenarios. -

What about Documents\Arma 3\Saved\Steam For me it contains the pbo and all the mission save files. -

Well, some helpful advice would be to post this application somewhere else (maybe the Steam forums?). Most people here are offended by the mod and how it blatantly ripped content from other games and stole some content from BHI, then uploaded it and lied about it like it was nothing.

Creating a custom version of ace (help)
Savage_Donkey replied to _leech's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS - CONFIGS & SCRIPTING
Probably ace_fcs.pbo but I'm unsure. This will give you a list of most features in each pbo file; it should have what you're looking for. -
Creating a custom version of ace (help)
Savage_Donkey replied to _leech's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS - CONFIGS & SCRIPTING
Yes you definitely should (should have been in the download); when was the last time you downloaded a new version? Latest version is 3.9.2, released sometime in May. All the dll files should be in the root of the @ace folder along with mod.cpp and all that, not under the addons folder. For separate extensions, are you just getting a "Warning Message: Addon 'whatever' requires addon 'ace_something'"? Unless you want/are allowed to modify the extensions, you're better off including the required pbos into your custom installation.
