    Yes, but it also has to spot you. If it doesn't have a second radar with greater radar cone that is very unlikely before you can detect it with for example your own active radar and kill it with an LGB or a gunrun.

    I probably gonna release a small SAM addon that contains that 360 degree Centurion and also all of then 4 AA turrets for AAF and CSAT as UAVs

    The problem with the Centurion is that it's radar cone is pretty narrow. Only a few degrees. You may just control one of them and notice the very small area that is affected by its radar. It is only able to detect and so fire at targets within that narrow radar search cone. The anti-radiation sensor (and passive radar) is only able to detect the radar beam (and so the radar emitting source) if it actually reaches the platform with the sensor. So only if it is within the search cone of the centurion. With that being said the centurion on its own is quite useless as air defence. It can be destroyed by anything with a gun if it doesn't randomly manage to find it with that narrow search cone first. It always needs other radars to detect targets for it and use the data link feature then. For example a SPAAG or the Praetorian. That way the centurion is pretty much immune to SEAD but vulnerable to other airlaunched packages. But it is also not able to detect a target on its own. I created a version of it with a 360 degree radar. That works absolutely fine.

    The range of the small knife is a bit short. You can barely even hit people when running right into them as near as collision physics allow.

    Correction: After some testing I found out that if manualControl = 1; the missile has to be pointed directly at the target no matter how the sensors are configured. Even a tiny degree off will prevent the missile from locking.

    Can anyone confirm that the Scalpel and Jian missiles are not locking onto targets anymore in latest Dev branch? The square icon is there and the rhombus edges are also there but doesn't get smaller and the missile doesn't lock but is just manual controlled.

    I believe there is just one mission with the jets DLC. You have to use the ingame editor to build your own ones.

    Until then you could give this a try. A small SEAD missile addon by me: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1186658763 It would be actually very easy to put something like this in the game since it took me just a few hours after release of the jets DLC and I had basically no idea of scripting before. It is a small config that uses the sensor system introduced with jets DLC.

    Yeah. You can use them against both. But radar homing missiles are in general less affected by them in ArmA.

    They have to be crewed by someone or something and also be configured as vehicles. Otherwise the whole sensor stuff is not going to work.

    Actually I have radar domes for all factions ready. But they have a problem. I changed the model of the Praetorian. But the physics are messed up. When hit by a missile it falls over what doesn't look good with radar domes. So currently I can just use it with attach to command and solid blocks. I'm not sure whether I should publish that... I also gonna try out RHS support for the SEAD missiles.

    You can experiment that quite easy actually. Just place the vehicle at 0/0/0 and put the weapon where you want to have it. Than take the x and y coordinates into the command. Just try a few z coordinates and you will find a good solution quickly.

    I made a little config for these as a small Mod. It is working just fine. The missiles lock onto radar targets. They can be countered by smoke. The only problem is that the vanilla planes do not have anti radiation sensors except the wipeout and the neophron. So only these can reliably use them.

    The search functionality in the custom compositions group in 3den editor doesn't work. I made 50+ custom compositions and it would be very nice to have the ability to filter them.

    Yes, I can confirm this. When dropping unguided bombs from the Neophron or one of the new and faster DLC jets it is even worse.

    I don't think so. There is a reason for soldiers carrying knifes in CQB situations. I know quite a lot of former soldiers, who changed to work for the police (for German military problems reasons) and who are still carrying knifes to be prepared for super short range engagements. If your opponent is right in front of you a gun might not be the right choice. He can grab the barrel and pull it away. You would have no weapon then. A knife is definitely superior when it comes to very close fights.

    That is actually the case for all ATGMs I think. It is just one parameter in the config file. Really easy to change. I guess they don't want to change that but it would be a good thing. Also Radar guided ATGMs would be nice.

    Yeah. But don't you think it looks a little weird to have a Praetorian sitting on a radar dome?
