    I agree. We need proxy magazines even for weapons that apparently make no sense since there is only one type of magazine. For better mod compatibility 😀

    Has anyone ever tried making an M4 style carryhandle and front sights as an optic one could attach to the Spar-16 rifles to kind of recreate an M4 with them? And if not could anyone make it? Or is there maybe a tutorial on how to make 3d models for arma for a complete newbie because I never did 3d modelling before?
  4. No, why only one fire mode? There are situations where you don't want the top-attack mode... You may just switch firemodes back to default to avoid this bug... (if that works that is...) or just switch to rifle before going prone.

    You need to be the gunner to turn the gun. Otherwise you can just give targets to the gunner.

    Accidentally overwrote a main game file, need replacement.

    Maybe delete that one file and then try verifying game files. For adding new flags to the destroyer just add a little custom addon folder and adjust the path when using the flags. Or put them into the mission folder for easier use in MP so not everyone has to have your custom addon.

    I guess it is not possible to put any object outside of the actual map. The terrain there may also be randomly generated.

    Since it is stated that things were changed for Contact that are not compatible to the greater sandbox I guess all that would be technically possible may be adding the stuff as static objects without any functionality. The devs stated that they at some point considered to make the campaign coop but it was just not possible.

    Some evidence that destruction of both FV-720s causes some issues... Using no mods and latest DevBranch.

    While speaking of the FV-720s: I didn't play the latest Dev built yet but when I last played both of them behaved very strangely upon destruction. The wrecks seemed to be very bouncy and floated in the air (were buried into the ground when upside down.)

    I had many issues with the radar not seeing anything if placed to low "into" the vehicle. Since the actual radar emitting source seems to be pretty low on the model. (Maybe BI fixes it and places it at the actual panel?) Also are these destructable? I had issues to destroy the radar/launcher using demo charges. Rockets seem to work fine though.

    Alternatively put this into the init of the CWIS: [this, (getPos this nearestObject "Car")] call BIS_fnc_attachToRelative; This works for every "car" type vehicle (works for all other types as well) and attaches them together as placed in the editor. So a lot less try and error while making them look good. This doesnt use unit names so you can just copy and paste what you created over and over again.
