    Looks great. Quick question for the mission makers/ALiVE users using 3CB.... Will you guys divide up the desert/woodland/MTP uniformed groups into separate factions so that we can specify desert only units on desert missions, etc?

    VME works fine with ALiVE. I've used them in a couple of missions.
  3. I'm another who is having issues with Javelin launchers firing, yet the missile never comes down and strikes the target. Is this still an open issue or is a fix already planned?

  6. My dedicated server continues to be plagued with desync/server crashes, typically an hour into a game. I've been racking my brain, scouring the forums, etc to determine why. The rpt files won't look out of the ordinary at the time of the crash, yet I can't seem to keep a server up for longer than 2-3 hours without the no message received/red chain "server death". Who else is experiencing this? Are you using a virtualized spawning mod like ALiVE or MCC? Is it a bandwidth issue? Is it a memory leak crash? Inquiring minds want to know.

    Beautiful stuff Cype. The ALiVE Index is working great as well. I already have a new full map Conventional Campaign ready to roll using the Iraq Syria Conflict mod as well. Great stuff all the way around!
  11. Dwarden, For folks like myself who don't fully understand what #maxdesync, etc. do or how they are helpful..can you explain how I would use these commands to help prevent "no message received"/desyncs/crashes on my server? Thanks in advance.
  12. So a quick update: I deleted all ALiVE Modules from my missions creating the error, then re placed each module, saved...and loaded on the server. It appears to have fixed the error. Apparently, the latest ALiVE release was causing an issue on my older build missions if I didn't re place the modules. So far so good which makes me very happy. UPDATE: .....aaaannnnnd there's my server Out of Memory crash. So the error was gone..but my game still did the "no message received"/desync after about 90 minutes of gametime.   13. Quite possibly. The error was not visible on Stratis RPT log...which did not use CUP Terrains. So it seems that something in that combination of CUP + RHS + ALiVE isn't liking each other and is spamming that error over and over. Take CUP out or RHS out of the equation and no error. I'd like to see if anyone else in the ALiVE community has seen this same error in the same situation (using CUP Terrains plus ALiVE/ACE/RHS). I feel like Sherlock Holmes right now trying to find the killer of my server.
  14. Ok, so I did the exact same mission, swapping RHS units for Vanilla units. The error was gone. Every thing else was exactly the same other than I swapped the Vanilla units for RHS units.

Ok, so I've been experimenting/stress testing on the dedicated server after my RHS/ACE/ALiVE mod mission on Chernarus started desyncing constantly after roughly 60 minutes of play and I have found some interesting results. I loaded a mission using only the mods listed above on Stratis and ran it....no desync for hours and hours. No CUP Terrains, No extra map. So I created a new mission on Al Rayak...only adding CUP Terrains and Al Rayak map to the mod list....and I get this RPT spamming over and over and over and over...causing a desync and a log file of almost 18mb after 10 hours or so. Is that correct? Anyone else seen this? It's the major bugaboo for my issue right now it appears.

  17. I'm fine either way you go. The key is that this wonderful map stays "alive". It's a gorgeous upgrade from the original and I definitely love using it in my Ops.

    Well I got 3 of the 4 mods I renamed back but CBA for some reason will not re-download..even if I delete the folder entirely and resubscribe. Edit...after trying about 15 times...finally got it to "un" corrupt lol.

    Ok...so I found them. Oh my God BI. Every single mod is in a folder of a bunch of numbers. Every. Single. One. So instead of seeing @CUP_Terrains, etc. I see 1234423. And if I'm reading this correctly on the workshop..if I do want them saved as a local mod...I have to REdownload the entire mod again? Is that right? As the guy who maintains our servers uploading mods, etc.....this is not an enjoyable change.

    So I found them... HOLY GOD THIS IS AWFUL BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE So...not only are all of these mods moved to that location... BUT THE NAMES ARE ALL GONE....THE FOLDERS ARE ALL FREAKING NUMBERS. Absolutely THE worst idea ever. I now have around 50 Steam mods that I'm going to have to manually change back to the name of the mods instead of 124523454 and 24432345. I'm speechless.

    This is a massive inconvenience having to play "hide and go seek" with steam mods. I'm trying to update our server with the new CUPs, etc. and now I've got figure out where the heck these folders are.

  24. Has anyone else reported that the UNSUNG factions don't work with ALiVE yet either? If not, I tested on Altis and Stratis and none of the Viet Cong or US factions are properly configured it appears.
