Is there something wrong with six updater? Norton just deleted it from my computer saying it had a high risk.

All fine here, i'm using Avast. Any details?

Perhaps Norton doesn't like the way I update the application exe files during auto-self-update, have had reports of exe files disappearing after update, I reckon that's AV too.

Hi Sickboy, and thanks for continuing frequent updates.

I have question about how to join six updater network with my windows apache server and maybe provide a mirror for all the MODs for the Japanese players.

I have read the Mirror Setup page(http://six.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Six_Updater+Mirror_Setup) where it said that I have to "Download the Virtual Machine (400 MB, on request)". Am I right by requesting it here?

Also, I would like to request adding "Dynamic Force Balancer"(http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=115383) which my friend has made to six updater repository.

Thank you for the offer!

There's no VM required for http mirrors, the hosting requirements of CustomRepos apply; http://six.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Six_Updater+CustomRepos_Setup#Hosting%20Requirements

+ either an rSync pull configuration (you auto sync every hour), or (preferred) push configuration (for me to auto sync every hour, and upon mod update/addition).

Is the host Windows or Linux ?

If you get on the GroupChat that is listed (http://six.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Six_Updater+CustomRepos_Setup#Support) we can pick it up and handle it.

Will try and add DFB soon.

I hope to use the Sixupdater also German-speaking players and the SIX can help me, what I would be very happy.

DFB seems to be lacking a valid .bikey in the keys folder, it only has a .bisign :)

So I found a 'bug' that you may or may not be able to do anything about. I was clicking the Six Updater shortcut as usual but it was a little slow to open, so I click it again - Because of this apparent double execution, Norton 360 SONAR popped up and said it was a High Risk threat and it requires a restart to remove the file - It blocks and deletes it.

Just wanted to give you a heads up, probably not much you can do since this is a big Norton fail but, at least it's worth a laugh :P

Not properly removing all old versions, and using old shortcuts.

Uninstall any Six Updater version available from Control Panel, Add/Remove Program.

Delete all shortcuts related to Six Updater.

Delete C:\Program Files\Six Updater

Delete C:\Program Files\Six Projects\Six Updater

Install latest available version
