So your not using Rsync or YomaAS? Not good my friend as that keeps you updated at the press of a button.

Latest version is 337.

I was trying to say that it's obviously more of an issue with my connection than it is with ACE, so it's not really worth making a post on the issue tracker, but it's still something i'd like to get sorted.

Well sorry then i just got confused on this part:

it looks like just as much a problem with my set up as it is a bug in ACE

Anybody else got these issues:

- (FAC) AI not using SOFLAM like they use the LD in default A2

- player using SOFLAM and changing back to rifle switches to handgun

- the LD on SU-25 target anything else, better if the pilots gets a feedback if the target is a vehicle or a object or a ghost

- static TOW launcher has a magic ammo supply but Metis-M and Konkurs not

- AI using AT launchers dont stand still and guide the missile till the target is hit

- AI using RPGs as AA weapon and wasting AT ammo even if a OPFOR vehicle is close by

...

Hi guys my problem is that when i update ace via six, it only updates my @ACE, @ACE_SM, @CBA files and completely skips my @ACEX & @ACEX_PLA, now i have set up a custom udpate preference instead of using the standard ones i.e. ACE Vanilla, i have set my custom preference to not skip any of the files, but to no avail it still does not update these files, on the six homepage after loading up SixUpdater-GUI it says i do not have @ACEX, @ACEX_PLA, i have the folders with pbo's to these files in my directory though, so i'm pretty stumped, anyone know a quick fix? any answers i would be grateful if you pm me as I know there are alot of questions in this topic :)

Fixed my problem now, the directory it was searching for my ArmA2.exe in was missing a "\", just needed to add it, it's installing now :)

It might just slaughter your framerate with automatic grenade launchers, but how amazing would it be if fragmentation rounds kicked up bullet-impact dust like the Mk. 19 in this video?

Hello,

I just got the mod installed and it's taking a long time to load when I select the map wizard in MP to create a custom map. When I try to edit the map it takes like at least a couple minutes to load the edit screen. Then I make some changes and hit preview and it takes another couple minutes to load.

Any idea why? Everything else seems fine. I haven't had any slow loading issues with creating mp maps with the normal game or other mods I've tried. Thanks in advance!

It probably means there are no updates available for it. Or the installation folders are not compatible. What does the updater window say about the mods when you run it ?

Skip status is set automatically to true or false based on if the mods are up2date or not. Unless you disable autoskip. http://six.dev-heaven.net/wagn/Six_Updater_Suite+Usage#Reset%20'skip'%20status

Please try it without any additional mods installed to determine if it has anything to do with the combination of other mods.

Also, please try an empty mission with just a single player unit, and see how that turns out.

Morning all sorry if this has been asked before etc.

I am not sure if you can actually answer this yet as its not out yet but will ACE 2 work with the new OA when its out if not will you make it so it will be in the future?.

Im not saying OA is going to need it etc im just curios at the moment?.

No matter how good OA is out of the box - ACE will complement and elevate it even higher. :)

Just to let you know: if people use AddonSync2009 v1.0.57 or later you can do the following:

-Export your server to a .yas file (check server details in the tool)

-then link to the file using the following special uri

yashttp://addonsync.yomatools.be/Serverugaf.yas

This makes importing the server really really easy (just click the link...)

hi guys.

i try to use the slingrope in ace but i cant see a action menu where i can attach the rope to the heli? what do i have to do to use the slingrope?

do have to place a module or what? (i cant see a module for that btw)

Since ACE2 is normally distributed via Six Updater or Yoma only, I guess its 1.0 Stable.. :D

Thanks for the update ACE! And thanks KH for AS update. ;)

EDIT: Sorry for being a schmuck SB, but are the main changes these in ACE for the latest version? And im sure there are other changes but either you dont have time to write them down or they are of such character that it isnt needed for us to know? Just checking. Per usual. :)

Still I'm expecting ACE could make the UAV(Q9)'s laser designator work well when I'm using its terminator, so that I could guide the AGM114 missile to hit the ground target.
