Maddmatt 1 Posted December 30, 2009 Probably, but if it's fun, what does it matter? Exactly. As long as it has more depth than COD I'll consider it.
Zipper5 74 Posted December 30, 2009 To me, it looks like it has a significantly lower production value. Graphically, it looks very sub par. The recoil of the weapons for the few seconds you see them looks very odd, and some of the animations look quite out of place.
Second 0 Posted December 30, 2009 (edited) I always had the impression - although personal experience is limited to some demos of each - that MoH was in a similiar vain to CoD but with gameplay which was a bit more realistic and mature than CoD - a fair comment? I must agree. Before Pacific Assault was released whole title felt like joke. But Pacific Assault quite surprisingly changed my feelings. It was rather good game then, still is decent and i enjoy it to some degree. Campaign was long and had good and engaging moments. Airborne sadly didnt' work that well for me, but cant' say that it would be bad game. I've played it thru three times by now... Elite Strum Nazi with gasmask and MG-42 is smoking hot :D Interesting to see how this new one turns out to be. Edited December 30, 2009 by Second

Allied Assault had a superb singleplayer atmosphere, fantastic soundtrack and the multiplayer was awesome too.
Zipper5 74 Posted December 30, 2009 Allied Assault and Spearhead were my favorite of the MOH series, and remain to this day. The Normandy landing in Allied Assault was just... Wow. I can still remember it.
Clavicula_nox4817 0 Posted December 30, 2009 MoH Airborne is one of the worst computer games I have ever played. Not as bad as Dragon Rising, but pretty close. I can't think of a single part of that game I enjoyed. It's too bad, too, because normally I cream my pants over anything that remotely involves paratroopers. Second 0 Posted December 31, 2009 What? Pacific Assault is where the title turned to a joke. Allied Assault had a superb singleplayer atmosphere, fantastic soundtrack and the multiplayer was awesome too. Pacific Assault on hardest difficulty level. It scolded me, broke me and made me better man... Okay i've had bit of booze. Really: I don't see how it turned into joke? [i'm sure you do] Anything in the game which involved aircrafts or not shooting things (that ship part) involved was terrible. Had jungle (bit too few, bit too tunnel like), campaign had strong moments, no Nazis, no Stg44. I despised MOH-name. I was rather hard OFP fan when i played it first time and still i approved it (unlike Farcry forexample). So sue me.
OH-58-FL-Pilot 10 Posted January 2, 2010 I think it will be a fun break from the seriousness of sims and real life activities. Believe it or not, some people enjoy breaks from serious stuff for a bit of fun.

jakerod 254 Posted January 4, 2010 It was made by spielberg's guidance that's why I just watched a video of it from Allied Assault and a video of Point Du Hoc from Call of Duty and I personally like Call of Duty's better... never thought I would ever hear myself say anything like that. MOHAA is several years older, and for its time the beach landing was one of the most impressing SP moments of all time.

When I played the call of duty mission was far inferior.
gabe_ruckus 5 Posted January 4, 2010 The medal of honor beach assault was a definitive moment in gaming for me. I replayed just that mission so many times when I was in high school, it was like being in Saving Private Ryan, it was so good.
myshaak 0 Posted January 5, 2010 I just noticed that the insurgents in 00:20 are saying what sounds a lot like "Q'Pla!", possibly a Star Trek refference? :p
Heatseeker 0 Posted January 5, 2010 If EA are going to depict the insurgency in Afghanistan in their traditional MoH/CoD lame style then this game already failed.. i mean the go from A to B with never ending waves of stupid respawning bots and scripted explosions in betwean.. style. MW in Afghanistan? ..
