rundll.exe 12 Posted December 14, 2009 Great initiative! Will you list conversions here? I've been looking for some fun ACE2 SP missions, but they are well hidden (or buggy :)) but you might want to remove the emailadresses from this public forum, to prevent massive spam in your inbox, unless you like that ofc :)

lNTRUDER 26 Posted December 14, 2009 Nice idea ChefD. However I will convert my missions myself, simply because I have too much fun working with the ArmA 2 editor (and Notepad) :D I'm sure there will be plenty of takers though, so again great offer :) / ]NTRUDER
SaOk 112 Posted December 14, 2009 (edited) You can freely convert, modify and extend (in anyway - no restrictions) my "Russian Invasion" and "Counterattack to Polana" SP-missions for ACE2 if you like. Those are currently played as CDF but it should be easy to change the side to US Forces. My other missions arent yet ready for conversions. http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=6074 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=6812 Edited December 14, 2009 by SaOk
SnR 1 Posted December 15, 2009 A conversion team set up, would be great. Mission maker can drop off, go to the shops then come back to pick up AceD Mission. :)
bhaz 0 Posted December 15, 2009 Come to think of it, you could probably completely automate it. ie.: get a list of classes, and the ACE2 alternative, kinda like the find & replace tool in notepad, then just batch all the replacements with one click. Could possibly even add an option to throw down some modules.
.kju 3245 Posted December 15, 2009 Yep. We used powerGREP (any decent search and replace tool works) for WGL and ACE (I). You only need the class mapping basically.

xeno 234 Posted December 19, 2009 Beside converting missions to ACE 2... If you have some good ACE 2 missions and want to release them through normal ACE updates so that everybody can play it... I guess we will find a way to do that :) Allways keep in mind, nobody plays addons but missions! Xeno
