arvaakuka 10 Posted February 26, 2010 Give us some beta missions !!! i can´t wait any more longer :)
Zipper5 74 Posted February 26, 2010 I would, but most of the combat missions get very annoying with the current AI behavior, and sometimes won't play how they should. As I mentioned before, I'm going to wait and see what BIS does to fix it before I either compensate for it or keep it how it is.
santafee 10 Posted February 26, 2010 BIS......... time for this fix and beta Patch now! your campaing is looking very promising :)

Zipper5 74 Posted February 27, 2010 Do you have any mission files left from Hunted ???And if you have could you release them. :) I only have the same missions that were already released all that time ago. I had not completely finished a new mission before I scrapped the project and started on Operation Cobalt. Sorry. :(
arvaakuka 10 Posted February 27, 2010 (edited) Do you have mission 4 files anymore or have you delete them ??? By the way your missions are better than Harvest red. :) Edited February 27, 2010 by arvaakuka
Zipper5 74 Posted March 11, 2010 (edited) Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've posted an update, so I thought I'd let you all know what's been going on. You'll be pleased to hear that missions 1 to 4 have been finalized, and I am now starting on introducing the other "interesting", I suppose, aspect of this campaign. I figured I'd let the pictures do the talking instead of me. There is also another trailer in store for you, which will be released soon. ;) Edited November 15, 2010 by Zipper5

I figured I'd let the pictures do the talking instead of me. Great news! I really enjoyed your mini-campaign. Looking forward to more. :)

Zipper5 74 Posted March 18, 2010 (edited) Thanks for the kind words everyone. The campaign is still progressing, I'm currently on mission 8. However, I'm heading to the UK for a week on a school trip so I'll be unable to work on the campaign. After my absence, what I've done so far with the campaign may be released for public beta testing while I continue with the rest of it. Keep an eye on this thread. ;) Edit: Figured I'd at least be decent enough to leave you with a teaser from the next mission: A deep Force Recon unit searches for important information. MetalMike 10 Posted March 29, 2010 I just downloaded Operation Cobalt yesterday and did the first mission or two. I was very impressed! Great work. No errors so far, and very framerate friendly. I'll be finishing the rest this weekend.
Binkowski 26 Posted March 29, 2010 :O russians?! i like. force recon is cool too. can't wait!
MetalMike 10 Posted March 31, 2010 Okay so I'm just having a little gripe now. I'm on the "Turning Point" mission. I'm with the NAPA guy that picked me up after I got ambushed by Lopotev. We are on our way to Myshkino, running through the woods, and we start engaging Chedaki. However, every time we do this he seems to get killed, and it just seems kind of ridiculous that I have to revert every time he dies, considering it's so easy for him to get killed. I don't know if I'm just missing out on some other method of engaging or avoiding the Chedaki, but I seem to be doing all I can. It's just getting a bit frustrating now. Do I just need to hang in there and keep trying over and over, or am I missing something?
arvaakuka 10 Posted March 31, 2010 When we get beta missions ??? =)
Zipper5 74 Posted April 1, 2010 Unfortunately I ended up missing a whole week of school for my trip to the UK, and missing a week of school at A-Level means a hell of a lot of catching-up works has to be done ASAP. Therefore this whole week I haven't been able to even touch the missions as I've been incredibly busy. And to add yet another blow to this I'm just about to go on a holiday for a week to India, so I still can't work on it for another week. But don't fret, this holiday in total lasts for 2 weeks, so I'll have a week when I get back home to work on it. It is almost certain that you will see the missions released then. Sorry for anyone I've disappointed with this, hopefully the missions will make up for it. :D
desmondb 10 Posted April 7, 2010 REALLY looking forward to playing this campaign seems to be extremely well done looking at the teasers
Zipper5 74 Posted April 9, 2010 Well, I am now back from my holidays. :D REALLY looking forward to playing this campaign seems to be extremely well done looking at the teasers Thanks for the encouragement. You shouldn't have to wait much longer, I'm working full-steam on getting the missions I've made so far up-to-snuff so that I can release them for beta testing. With any luck, you should see them released sometime this week.
arvaakuka 10 Posted April 10, 2010 Do we get beta missions tomorrow ???????
Zipper5 74 Posted April 10, 2010 Sorry, I should have put within a week instead of this week. Was the day I arrived back from holidays and had only had 2 hours of sleep over 2 days. :D So expect to see it this coming week.
Zipper5 74 Posted April 12, 2010 (edited) Alright, here we go! Operation Cobalt v0.3 Set during the events of Harvest Red, the player takes on the role of Peter Novak, a Private in the CDF. Akula Lopotev has seized command of the Chernarussian Communist Party in a violent coup and renamed it to the Movement of the Chernarus Red Star. He has declared war on the current Democratic government of Chernarus, and began a campaign of 'ethnic-cleansing' to rule out his competition. At first the CDF could contain it, but the ChDKZ slowly grew until they were overwhelmed. The President sent out a call for help, to which the United States sent the 27th MEU to Chernarus aboard the USS Khe Sanh. Link to download Changelog: v0.3: - Completely redesigned - Now includes first 5 missions and all cutscenes to that point Well, it's needless to say that I've completely redone the entire campaign and it bears little to no resemblance to v0.2. At the moment I've only managed to finalize the first 5 missions of the campaign and their respective cutscenes to that point, but I think it'd suffice for a release. More missions will be coming in future updates, so stay tuned. Let me know of any issues you find, I'm sure there'll be some. But more importantly I hope you enjoy what I've finished so far, and that I get you interested to see the rest of it.
