Marder 7.62 MG3 where ? i looked many many photos and only in newest versions there is MG-3 where in older is sight

MG-3 in old versions was in rear turret

there is no MG-3 port on 1A2

M109 gun - i know, in future

M242 magazine reload time will be changed, as M242 has double feed mechanism

i must check rest :) thanx

T80BV texture bug - i have no idea why it happens ?

it is caused by glass in shield

look around in 3-rd view - there is a texture

but there is white when you look through the glass :O

there are general problems with Alpha channels in this game

a lot of textures that "should work" do not work, look at M113 interior, some BIS vehicles

on my PC sometimes BIS Aimpoint looks like "tv with no cable signal" we call "ants race" :/

i will try to find solution, but it seems to be engine bug

even imported by me Stryker (not in pack) and M113 from Arma 1 have white not-transparent glass :/

there was in troubleshooting topic when one man claimed on BTR90 glass bug

I would also like to use P'85 artillery with BIS' artillery module.

should be coaxial just right to the machine cannon.

okay

i found serious error of damage hide on T80 and T64 so i am redownloading P85_V file in few hours, how can i miss it in Arma 2

there is difference between Arma 1 and Arma 2

in Arma 1 dammage hide do not make something not turn, while in Arma 2 - yes

so in 2 hours there is new P85_V_A, inside :

fixed T64, T80 wrong selections turn and PT-76 wheels and track in ground when moving

changed config - missing LEO engine fixed, wrong PT-76 and T55 engine fixed, now they have sound from BIS T34

adding coax to Marder is not valid for 1985, please check resources about 1A2, not 1A3 :)

just reminding for people who may missed that Project 85 addons were released yesterday

I want to download the mod but I'm not sure what to download. Are the download links in the first post the ones released three days ago? Also I can only see the links for troops and weapons, but not the one for vehicles... I'd appreciate if one could help me. :)

Very nice man, I was thinking it was such a shame to have all those beautiful vehicles, yet no arty module....Also is it possible to incorporate the other types of ammunition? As in WP, and DPICM and such? Thank you.

EDIT: Vilas, is there any chance you could put a last updated date near your addons? I was just thinking it might make it easier for people to know when you've updated. But meh just a suggestion :D nice work yet again!

Found another thing that should be changed in the config. The M1 Abrams (haven't tried other tanks) shoots down enemy helis with it's 120mm cannon. And AI is very good at that. It's somehow funny but very annoying. It may be possible with an ATGM but that? The M1 can compete with an AA system.

questions/notice to modders:

yet we have neither small-package desert world (small is 200 MB) nor winter island or etc.

but if in future some of you will be doing such islands and armies than i can allow reskin some of P85 stuff for addons that are: sand camo, winter camo etc.

i mean - if something not conflict/competee with P85 or Polish-related or other my addons ideas than i can help

things i can give to such moders, reskins etc. :

- Bradleys

- BMP1

- Gvozdik howitzer

- LAV's

- T-80

- M109 howitzer

- SKOT apc

- BTR-60 apc

i cannot help nor give something which is not 100% mine, cause P85 vehicles are work of many people

soldiers models elements and weapons also if i will decide that other addon is not in competition to my addons

than i can help

previously i had no time to answer to many people due to very big amount of work on P85 release for A2

now i work for Polish modern pack (Rosomak, troops in quality models and textures, more vehicles, some not-bought by ministry of defence vehicles that stayed in prototypes phase only) but i have now time to answer previously not-answered mails

big sorry to Ukrainian mod and IDF mod for my lack of time to answer and pack what is needed

now after small rest i can pack what you needed

later plans after Polish pack update is maybe Marder 1A3 (1987?) to not competee with BW MOD which makes top-modern equipment

so i will just add 1A3

and this prototype, it looks sexy, it was not chosen by army, which chosen Patria

decision in Poland was very discussed and many opponents of Patria said BWP2000 would be better

BWP2000 was meant to be Polish Bradley

but it ended in 2 prototypes

Army bought lighter 20 tonnes Patria wheeled APC/IFV instead of heavy 30 tonnes tracked ifv

BWP 2000 is territorial defence IFV, but it's look makes me to add it , even if it not entered production

Chernarus is fictional, so maybe hipotetically in 2010/2012 Chernorussian conflict it could appear :)

BWP2000 came from common 3 countries IFV concept called MT-S

Soviets improved and entered BMP-3 which now is in Russia, but basically BMP-3 appeared in 1988 in Soviet army

@vilas: 2s1 Gvozdika now works with BIS' Artillery Module.

Should it have SADARM and Laser guided artillery shells too? Not really, I guess.

Starting work on 2S7 Pion and M109 now.

when i will be home i will test all , super :)

i found that sometimes AI M109 in group was causing me ctd (config bug, cause model not causes ctd, if game crashes when M109 is in fight sometimes and map (M) is enter, so it cannot be graphics side if map (M) is open?), i must find why

but i would like to finalise P85 addons and now i am trying to complete bug list what must be fixed

yesterday i found track error on Bradley M2A2 and M109 track in ground

i have fixed it yesterday with new P85_v and

but what should i fix more in vehicles pack (i know issue with no-outside and hatches on M109 present model)

i know that i must fix some weapons in weapons pack and make new RPD cause present is not for Arma2 quality

do you have any wishes(fixes not adding new stuff, cause temporary i am too busy) for vehicles, weapons, troops pack ?

config things is another issue (because it is 100 kb archive), now i am asking about big files, that are annoying to download 150-200 MB

I don't know if this has all ready been discussed but I keep getting massive slow downs when Soviet tank platoons engage in combat. I haven't tested any of the tanks individually.

ERA tanks have 13 000 polys and complicated shadow lods while rest of tanks have 5 000

maybe it is because of that

hi vilas.

Just been hunting away for bugs.

Overall fantastic Work. The effort and reasearch you have put in to this project is outstanding.

This is what i have found so far.

The US "greneda" type of soldier has a bug with the arm texture before the start of the rolled up sleeves and the arms dont connect properly in to the PASGT vest. there is gap between arms and the vest.

Also the "Queens Gambit" M1 Helmet is Not an accurate shape and the soldiers are missing chinstraps for the helmet . if you would like reference pictures of troops in this style of this era i have plenty as i done research for my old flashpoint projects.

The helmet band on the Pasgt helmet is too light it should be a dark tan or olive drab colour.

an error message comes up when i try to use the marder.

cannot load texture vilas_npl\veh\CJ5_okno.paa.

I also get CTD when trying to select the german 630 Man transport truck.

thats all for now.

Hey Vilas, I have 100s of lines of this error report in my arma2.rpt:

Subgroup leader candidate did not found, NUnits() = 1, nUnits = 1

Subgroup leader candidate did not found, NUnits() = 1, nUnits = 1
Subgroup leader candidate did not found, NUnits() = 1, nUnits = 1
Subgroup leader candidate did not found, NUnits() = 1, nUnits = 1
No leader

I have no clue what causes this, but it slows down the game and can even lead to crashes.

Hm... I think your predefined groups cause this bug... Could you upload your latest cfgGroups for me, Vilas? I'll check it again.
