ARMA1 pathes fixed this problem...what about a patch for ARMA2?

Yes, it sucks being shot through vegetation

However, it makes sense to have it this way in most situations...but only if they spot you and dont track your movements unless you give them a visual target.

I rarely get shot (accurately) with small arms if I'm behind grass or bushes. But my squad will call out enemy infantry through a half mile of trees.

The enemy doesn't need line of sight. They are a hive mind, and if one has seen you, the mounted .50cal a mile away can shoot you regardless of concealing vegetation. If they're not synced, AI can ignore a huge battle raging less than fifty metres away.

Whats your point? I do the same when i assume that someone is behind a bush. The AI does not see straight trough bushes and completely ignores their viewblocking abilities. Stop making ridiculous comments about this all the time.
