Tonight I had this issue happen at least 3 times... but the first time I had it after I came out of the map-view, so I thought 'let's switch back, and try again' IT WORKED! All the three times I had the receiving bug (with my whole screen flickering with overlay and all, so the true thing) I pressed M to get to the map, and pressed M again to get out of the map and in normal view. I only found Maruks statement to that issue.Regarding holidays: Nothing against that they close the company for a month, but they could say so. Arma -North- 10 Posted August 5, 2009 many pepole have fade black "loading..." screen in multiplayer game, users ligal version who pay money. how about hotfix for it? or turnit off at all if u cant solve the problem. game is unplayble! - say it pepole when they want to buy your products, not after. waitin putch for ages.... who care's some bugs if they cant play? shud i get this story on TV? No, it is black screen "recieving" bug (in russian localization recieving translated as "загрузка", "загрузка" can be translated back to english as "loading". I have this bug and it makes game unplayable. It is very sad because I bought Arma2 only for multiplayer games. I think, that this bug caused by some error with memory, but my friend, Arma, think, that is fade issues. Anyway, how soon i can get path or fix, that makes game working? Well patch log for 1.03 states: * Fixed: Clients were often endlessly stuck in 'Receiving...' window after MP Load. * Fixed: MP client frozen in Receiving... screen sometimes So should be fixed, fingers crossed. Happens to me from time to time, too. Though it hasnt been fixed by any means I tried, I reduced the probability of this issue occuring by cooling my GFX-card better (even if it did not "overheat"). It seems to be related to the CTD problems some others have as well as to issues with the gfx-driver. To make things clear to others: When this "crash" occurs, you just got a black screen. Meanwhile, the game still runs "in the background", meaning that you can still control your character with the mouse, reload, chat and so on. Even the sound still playes on (if you got a truck on your left and perform a ~180° turn with your mouse after the black screen, you'll hear the sound on your right speakers) There is no "recieving" at all - in whatever language. I think the recieving-issue is a clompletely different thing. Edit: Check your gfx-card's temperature. I reduced crashes like this by two thirds by setting the fan speed of my gfx-cards' fan to 80% manually... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

But thanx to 1.03, I have now new bugs, huge freezes (0.05fps), only way to stop that is to kill the process manually... Do I trust BIS support anymore ? Try and guess. Atomouss 10 Posted August 6, 2009 Same reception screens, as soon as I shoot a building from a plane for too long in a big city, or in many other cases. But now, moreover, I have sometimes huge fps falls (0.05fps), and I have to kill arma2.exe process manually to get out. That is not an hardware pb, all bios and drivers are up to date, and fps when no bug is occuring are 20/60fps. I'm really disapointed that BIS took time to fix so much minor bugs, letting this big one down... My specs : e6400 2Go HD3850 512Mo XP SP3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
